Does anyone know with a countdown - if you need to miss one week can you have a holiday week on a countdown?
As long as you book any holiday at the time of buying the countdown then that is okay. If you take any holiday or sick during your countdown time not previously booked then that will be taken as an attendance week.
Hope that helps.

' Does anyone know with a countdown - if you need to miss one week can you have a holiday week on a countdown? I joined as a shift worker last time and only had to miss a few weeks over the 6 months I went to the one group but I paid every week - looking at the next 12 weeks there is one Thursday I'd have to miss.'
If you book that as a holiday WHEN YOU BUY YOUR COUNTDOWN you will not have to pay for it! But if you miss one that you haven't booked in advance you lose the money (although the week our meeting was cancelled when the scales failed - we were credited for it! And I was credited for missing a meeting due to the heavy snow and being away for my father-in-laws funeral - but I id e-mail my leader at the beginning of the week and give her notice.):jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Today has gone to plan apart from I didn't have the lunch that I'd decided on this morning, but I had a lower syn (free in fact) one instead:j
The only syns I've had today so far have been 2 mini pear drops (20 cals according to the packet, so 1 syn). I will have a tbsp of choc spread with some strawberries later if I get the munchies but at the moment I'm ok.
I'm back at work tomorrow so will post my food plan now as I won't have time in the morning and will update in the evening.
Breakfast - banana and cereal bar
Mid Morning Break - clementine
Lunch - small jacket spud and beans, grapes
Tea - quorn curry or mini fry up kind of thing with veggie sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, "fried" egg, maybe a waffle if I can find out the syns
See you tomorrow!0 -
just killing some time before SW class - i'm fairly new there and find i just sit down like billy no mates - so if i get there on time i sit alone for 30minutes.....
so trying to turn up tonight right at the end of WI and then i can sit next to somebody and say hello
does that make me sound like a saddo? the class is fairly cliquey - and they're all slim as lots of target members
just scoffed a bag of quavers (4.5) but am planning on having omlette with bacon when i get back.
also looking forward to a mini crunchie bar
Hope weigh in went well and you managed to find someone to speak to?
My last class was lovely but the WW class I went to before that was awful, everyone knew each other and when you lost weight they wern't supportive just hissed at you! eeek I left pretty sharpish!
So glad as otherwise wouldn't have started SW!!

Have you tried soup in a flask with a handful of pasta in?

Not in my book (admittedly a year or two old). In my book eggs are mentioned on page 9, heading Superfree and Free Foods, in the centre of the page it says "on the following pages you will find lists of superfree foods..." and towards the bottom of the page it says "plus all the fabulous Free Foods you can enjoy any time to satisfy your appetite, also with no limits. They include, Lean meat and poultry, fish and seafood, potatoes, pulses and starchy vegetables, rice pasta and grains, eggs, fat free dairy products, vegetable proteins, eg quorn and tofu." Pages 10-13 are lists of superfree vegetables and fruit. Then on page 14 a full list of free food is given, including Eggs. They really are not part of the one-third superfree on the plate. Honest!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Mmm choc spread with fruit - never thought of that - I'm a chocoholic (have been since I stopped smoking) this should hopefully hit the spot! Only problem is could I keep a jar in the cupboard without it calling to me?? Wonder if you can still get the little tubs of nutella!!
Enjoy mmmm

Thanks both, I know which week I'll have to miss so could pre book that but i'm wondering if I can do the countdown if I need to join as a shift worker. If I get stuck with getting to my Thursday meeting I can go to one on a Weds after work. I just thought maybe a 12 week countdown might be good for the motivation to stick to it! This time round I really need to stick to a regular class/time of weigh in as much as I can as think it will work better to go to the same meeting and same consultant and stay for group. I like the group near work but chances of me sneaking off after weigh in are high as I'm tired straight from work and will want to get home for tea! I'll be better going home having tea and going to the 7.30pm class.
I was going to have a go at doing the plan myself but then I've had 6 months to do that and reckon I've put about a stone back on so think class is the best way for me:rotfl:Sealed Pot Challenge number 8 Amount declared £365.50.
