    Happy New Year everyone!

Well, after nearly three weeks off, tomorrow I'll be firmly back on plan :) My first weigh in since 14th dec is on Wed, but as I said before Christmas I'm not sweating it. I'll have put on, but whatever the dreaded scales say I know I can get rid of it again. By the end of Jan I'll be well on track again and heading for my next stone award, which will be 3.

Full of new year confidence :D

Hope you've all had good holidays x

  • Hi all

I think I'm slowly getting my head around SW (ish) and apart from going a bit over the top on wine last night (eek!) I am enjoying the meal plan. There seems to be a lot of bacon on it!!?! I've also done a 30 min davina boxercise dvd and 20 min wii zumba over the past couple of days. This is it! 2012 WILL be my year! Just to clarify, it's not my wedding but my brother's in April. I don't want to be as enormous as I am now. I NEVER want to be this enormous again, in fact!
:D Skint but happy with my lovely family :D

Presumably all new members will get it as standard?

Yes SW usually update / issue a new pack every year. so new members will get the 2012 version.

    12 week countdown is £49.50
12 week countdown for persons over sixty is £46.50

with the 12 week countdown, you also get free membership so more money saved :T (new years offer) the countdown works on the basis that you pay for 10 weeks in advance and get 2 weeks free - perfect way to start the new year and commit to a fab new you :T

Just finished my dinner, full beef roast with rather too many trimmings! I'm feeling absolutely stuffed, the first time since last WI 2.5 weeks ago. Will definitely be seriously back on plan tomorrow. Next WI is Thursday and hoping to be back within target, certainly don't feel it tonight!

I'm tired and I'm also feeling grouchy that tomorrow is my last days of hols. Also eaten far too much rubbish over last few days - more it seems than over xmas week (when i put on 2.5 pounds) so dreading scales on Tuesday. Certainly my scales at home will not be getting an xmas card next year :rotfl:

Haven't got round to any planning yet but suspect breakfast tomorrow will be grafefruit.

Lunch Jacket potato ? beans ? cheese (HEA), salad

    Not sure re tea.

NEED to plan to the letter. Will share when its done !

    Hi all,

Can someone tell me if today has been ok for me? EE day (I think....)

Breakfast / lunch - eggs, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes fried in fry light, 2 x quern sausages and baked beans (2 syns)
Dinner - 2 x jacket potatoes cooked plain the microwave topped with a tin of tuna in brine, 1 level tablespoon of extra light mayo (1 sun) and quark. Sauteed onions (in fry light)
Snacks - apple & fibre plus bar (HEb) 25ml of Baileys (2 syns) and a quality street choccie (2 syns)
I had 250ml of semi-skimmed milk in tea (HEa)
Oh I also had a skinny cappuccino sachet (3 syns)

Does that sound alright? I think I'm within the syns limit?

    Hi Everyone,

Hope you don't mind if I join in.

I have been following this thread for a long time and I have decided that it is time to come out of the shadows. I was a target member with slimming world for over a year now but Christmas has taken its toll and the result is that I have put on nearly a stone in about 5/6 weeks.

So what i am looking for is some tips on how to break the cycle of eating junk and getting back into the way of following slimming world. I do attend group but have not been able to attend in over 7 weeks so going back to group is the first thing I am going to do. I don't really like the format but the threat of a weigh in is the only thing that keeps me on the straight and narrow.

As I will have to go back to paying I would really I would like some extra support from you lovely people.

    Thanks in advance.:)
