I'm feeling really positive this morning!! I did have some syns last night (mostly wine and bubbly) but nothing too dreadful. I made hasselback potatoes with the casserole and they were really successful. I just did them plain with olive frylight but next time I'll try adding garlic slivers and rosemary. Very 'posh' looking if you have people for supper.

Today's roast will have a few more syns than my average Sunday but tomorrow I plan to be back 100% on plan. For me, that's almost syn free Monday to Thursday.

DD was around yesterday and I sent her home with the box of mini-Heroes. She'll use them in DGD's packed lunches, so they've gone to a good home!!

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS squash, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: beef & vegetable broth, satsuma
D: roast beef, SW roasties and parsnips, carrots, cabbage, yorkies, gravy and horseradish.
    Syns: dinner accompaniments:o, LO bubbly!:D

Morning all, hope you guys don't have hangovers?! LOL

I've had a good start to the day, just cooked a SW friendly fry up and it was lush!

My plan for today food wise is...

B - didn't get up in time for that!
L - 2 x eggs, baked beans, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes cooked in fry light and two quern sausages
D - Jacket potato with saut!ed onions (in frylight) and tinned tuna, with a smigde of extra low fat mayo

I will snack if I need to, on apples and bananas.

I count 4 syns in my list above, which leaves me around 10 more if I want them later, might have a baileys :)

Not sure what to do about HEbs/HEas. Might have tea and toast later on this afternoon.

Does this look alright for my first day?

I'm intending that today is my last day off plan. I got excited this morning because I realised that it was a new year :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: which means I can now use my brand spanking new page a day diary to record every single morsel of food to pass my lips! Also to meal plan ! and to record my journey back to target.

This will also living on my kitchen side and will be used to plan green/red/extra easy days and also to record what I'm up to i.e when I might be out and need to flexi syn!

    HAPPY 2012!

Hi all, I'm full of questions today so I hope you guys don't mind?

I bought yesterday 3 boxes of cappuccino sachets from Asda, we love our coffee but paying almost £3 a time at our local cafe is getting silly.

The boxes I bought have 10 sachets each including a tub of chocolate sprinkles, I bought normal, skinny and caramel flavour. I'm wondering what syns to allocate to them now? the skinny ones have 60 calories each and the other two are 70 calories? how many syns should I say they are?

    Thanks very much!

Welcome WelshDreamer, good to have you on board. I haven't been to group for 2 weeks due to festivities but I don't know anything about new pack. Is it just for new members? How do 'old' members manage?

Liz, you sound really positive. Good Luck. I'm not sure which Quorn sausages you had, many of them are only 1 syn each or even less and I doubt the mayo was more than a syn either.
  • Good morning, Happy New Year! Well back on plan for anotheir go, weighed myself this morning and have managed to keep 22lb off (had previously lost 2 stone, so 6lb on over the last couple of months) but hey another year and I've still lost from my top weight!

LOL Saidan - because I can't buy such great things over here I take it for granted that everyone has to cook - in fact I don't think anyone needs to cook in the UK ever again if they don't want to - you can get everything ready made or ready chopped :D
