    I am also going to go it alone. I did try going to meetings but didn't enjoy them as they went on forever and seemed a too happy clappy even for me.

  • Well just enjoying my last few hours of freedom before I hop back onboard my Slimming World Journey.... for the hundredth time ;)

    But this time I will try to succeed, I have a huge amount of weight :o to lose but will take it small steps, when I weigh myself in the morning I will know how much I have managed to keep off, previously I'd lost 2 stone, so fingers crossed!

    All the best for 2012 and lets hope we can support each other to lose lbs and lbs and lbs :p

    I'm going it alone too, lost a stone last year (2010) alone and managed to lost almost another stone at group in 2011 but unable to attend group now so from tomorrow, the new slimmer healthier me....here I come :j

    Hope today went well, Isn't SW supposed to be a plan for life? Flexible syns for such occurances? If you've had a good day fantastic, loving the wil power :D (I love white bread and sandwiches, yum yum) but if not - hey never mind, draw a line under today and tommorrow is another day (or year) ;)!

    How sad am I on here at this time!!! just waiting for 12 to wake my DD as promised to watch Big Ben with me and my computer keys are typing wrong... grr Hiccup...

  • This was yesterday and I'm panicking about WI tomorrow as last week's loss was definitely as a result of gynae issues and totally unrelated to what I had or hadn't eaten. Things have returned to "normal" now and I'm sure my loss was a total fluke - oh well tomorrow will show the truth and I'll accept whatever shows up knowing that I've had a good week and things can only get better.


    B – tuna & egg salad, 1 tblspns light mayo, banana
    S – orange, plum, apple
    L – chicken, stir-fried green beans, large salad, 1 tblspn humous, very small piece of white bread, banana
    S – 2 slices w/m bread, 2 tblspns humous, tomato, lettuce, banana, 1 pot 0% yoghurt
    D – bean and barley soup with lots of vegetables and a tin of chopped tomatoes

    Morning ladies! And a happy new year!
    I'm feeling quite smug this morning as I managed to resist the bottle of wine in the fridge and and my only NYE celebrations were 1.5 mini heroes (shared 1 with the dog, those big brown eyes!) and a handful of Pringles. Other than that no syns all day! So I'm guessing at around 10 syns for my whole night (but may be a few less).

    Right, today's food will be...
    Breakfast - banana
    Lunch - not sure yet but will be syn free
    Tea - quorn fillets, 2 tbsp bbq marinade, new potatoes, salad, little bit of leftover cheese with cranberries
    Snacks - pomegranate, strawberries

    WW - you should feel smug. i'd have eaten the whole pringles tube LOL

    well i blew the chinese - 2 chicken balls and a spoonful of egg fried rice :eek: twas very nice and great to be with my family.
    my superslimming sister who has lost 3 stone in the time i've lost 1.5stone put 7lb on over xmas - no idea how she achieved that but she says she enjoyed it and had a week off - while pointing out she didn't eat chocolate or other sweet stuff. i told her i expect the same this week after my time off plan :mad:

    so today green:
    b: will have a yoghurt and cup of tea (hea milk)
    l: parsnip soup (heb)
    d: jacket potato. might put cheese in (hea)
    am trying to reduce food and up liquid as my tummy has been so sore so if required i have hospital drinks with all nutrients in - but they are 330cals per bottle :eek: ideally i should drink 5 a day and not eat when my tum is this bad but i just can't do it......even the chocolate flavour is rank!

    Happy new year everyone - may 2012 be the year for our slimming dreams.

    Saidan, please share your recipe for parsnip soup.

    Sorry about your stomach and hope it settles soon - try and drink warm liquid rather than cold or some plain consomme soup which at least will be nutritional.
