  • So here's my first day back on plan and so happy with myself for keeping strictly to it. Felt like raiding the fridge in the middle of the afternoon so just upped the afternoon snack. It's going to take me a few days to wean myself off the high calories and carbs I've been eating for the last few months!

B - frittata - a couple of handfuls of frozen mixed veg, 2 eggs, herbs, 42g mozzarella cheese (HEA)
S - one orange, one persimmon, a handful of cherry tomatoes
L - tuna salad - leaves, cucumber, tomato, spring onions, hard boiled egg, tuna in water, beetroot, seasoning, balsamic vinegar, 1 tblspn light mayo (2 syns)
    S - 2 slices w/m bread, 1 tblspn humous, 1 tomato, cherry tomatoes, 1 banana (HEB) (4 syns)
D - homemade veg soup - courgettes, onions, pumpkin, sweet potato, stock, seasoning; tomato & parsley risotto (adapted from this month's little booklet pg 38) with added mushrooms and courgettes

One and a half litres of water, no exercise other than running up and down stairs several times during the day and carrying heavy loads from the car to client's homes (every little bit counts doesn't it!)

Managed to lose 1/2 lb this week, considering the week I've had I'm well chuffed :D (2 bottles of wine plus a cocktail & slammer on Fri night :o).

Party at group tonight, 2.gif, nom nom nom :T. Lovely pate and little choc cups :j. I made the passion fruit & mango panna cotta from the latest mag's booklet, very nice it was too 3.gif.

As usual have come back v inspired & planning on a loss this week :rotfl:

Good evening lovely ladies (and gents)

Finally settled into the house (if you don't count the MANY boxes filling the attic bedroom and spare bedroom ;))and have at last got the internet etc installed so thought I would pop by for a quick catch up....

Dizzy -so sorry to hear about your mil.... hope you are taking care of yourself too ...

Things are still going well with bumpsydoodle -Im now nearly 23 weeks and at our anomaly scan everything was as it should be :j -I was amazed as the other ladies there who were all about 20 weeks (I was late with mine) Had Mahoosive bumps and well -I don't even look particularly pregnant.... I really thought some of them were about due to give birth, so I was half expecting my baby to be small but apparently he is smack bang as he should be :D-oooh and he IS A HE ..good job too as I have been calling him he for weeks :rotfl:.
Im still 6.5lbs lighter than when I found out about the little one  -although I must be losing it from somewhere as I have definitely gained it around my fatta podge -even my brother commented today that I was losing weight from my face  Im not exactly sure how Im doing it as I can't claim to be exactly "on plan" but Im finding I naturally count syns etc in my head *not that Im claiming not to be counting too high sometimes* :p. I have developed a thing for OJ in a morning and a pint of semi skimmed before bed -and other than that Im now going through a phase of proper comfort food -breast of lamb stew being my latest weapon of choice :D .... mind apart from the lamb its free
We are having a seriously quiet xmas this year-what with all the decorating and moving we are just about starting to catch up with ourselves :T -hopefully by new year we may just have the energy to start searching for stuff for baby -if I can find stuff without bloomin ears on !!!! ooh and traditional white cream baby things -why are they so hard to find?
Gawd Im prattling on :o -I will endevour now to pop in more often and catch up with everyones goings on...
Hugs to all those in need and I hope everyone has a lovely peaceful xmas.....
    -6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.5
  • Lovely to hear from you MrsM :T

So glad the move went well & bump is doing well

I have a few friends that are pregnant at the moment & just about to start knitting a lovely little blanket & coat, maybe you could knit something for bubba???

WI last night & put on 3.5lbs  - which isn't worrying me at the moment!

I will need to try and be at least on plan a little over the next couple of weeks as i have only lost 2st & 1/2lb now - don't want to get less than 2st - but i can see it happening!
    :o

I have just not got my head into it at the mo - new year, new book, new outlook on things!
    :A

At least last night i was grateful for the extra padding when i slipped on some mud right on my leg & back side! :rotfl: Going to have a cracker of a bruise on my leg & a nice scar - not to mention i will have to go and buy some more leggings as the ones i was wearing now have a massive hole in them!

Good news though - Got given a mahoosive bottle of vodka & box of chocs from subbies on site & to top it off got £120 from the scrap fund! Then won the raffle twice last night - i won a bottle of wine & sandwich toaster! (lucky i didn't break the bottles falling over!
   )

Right better get off & do some work!

Thankyou Med Mum feeling very positive and that it wasn't meant to be.
Just about to do my half an hour on the wii.
    Menu for today

B 2 weetabix with tspn sugar (s) and apple and satsuma
    L Pasta with salad fruit
D Fish, salad and new potatoes
Sins sugar, Piece of dark chocolate

Had a phone call from Mum last night and when I told her I am doing SW she said I was mad to start now, leave it until after Christmas, there is nothing wrong with you anyway:eek: so the fact that I'm 4st over my recommended weight doesn't count then. I'm not listening (puts fingers in ears) Na na na na na
    I will stay on plan:D

I think it's an excellent time to start SW. Just stay on plan as much as you can and adapt as much as you can to make it SW friendly. Not so easy if you're staying with friends or out to eat but, at home, it's a piece of cake:D

Seriously if you can make a start now then by New Year, you'll be desperate to eat healthy food.

It's my DD1's birthday today and she's requested a chinese for supper (useless trying to go out to eat at this time of the year). So, on plan until then but flexi later. So glad I had a totally syn free day yesterday.

B: NAS squash, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, satsuma
    L: banana sandwich
    D: ????

Good to hear from you MrsM and great news about BabyM. Don't be a stranger!
