Heading for winter with Slimming World

Hi Maman, yes hopefully the body magic will negate the damage of the apres diving/ski. I will have a kitchen when I move out, but I'm not exactly sure what will be in it yet. I may still be slow cooking/pinging for a little longer. I don't mind though, I shall just have to keep on being inventive.
An EE day for me:
B - Banana and 1 x ryvita (1.5 syns)
L - was at a do and I had 4 small sandwich triangles made with WM bread. 1 had prawns and salad, 1 had egg mayo, 1 was ham salad and the other tuna mayo so I will allocate a HEB and 10 syns do you think?
D - Will be baked sweet potato and baked beans or maybe a pasta n sauce.
S - milk in tea (HEA)
Off to the gym now and then to the supermarket to get some fruit/yoghurt etc to nibble on whilst watching Masterchef tonight.Slimming World Restart Again 14/02/11: 152lbs

Well slight change of plan, I have come to my parents early. So menu now like this:
B - As above
L - As above
S - Banana and 1 x ryvita (1.5 syns)
D - Chicken, salad, SW quiche
S - Milk in tea (HEA), options orange (1.5 syns) and a total 0%Slimming World Restart Again 14/02/11: 152lbs

I've had a really unsatisfying food day! I bought a sandwich for lunch, and a pasta thing from M&S for dinner so I wouldn't have to cook anything just for me as my hubby is out on a work do. The sandwich was really plain and dull, and my pasta was too oily and spicy. Still starving :rotfl:
However, I got my 2 stone award last night, well happy :j:j"Empires are not brought down by outside forces, they are destroyed by weaknesses from within."0 -

Well done Senora and Saidan on your losses and NSV's!
I've just got back in time from running to avoid getting soaked. It wasn't a particular good run but still 3 1/2 miles and 400 cals.
An EE day as I'm at my parents and it is just easier that way:
B - Total 0% yoghurt, banana, raspberries and blackberries
S - Satsuma and Mcvities light milk choc digestive (don't know the syns for this but guessing 3?)
L - Dynorod soup
S - Muller light toffee
D - Smoked haddock one pot with new pots, red pepper and red onion. There is also a tiny bit of chorizo, olive oil and sherry in there but no other syns today (apart from the biccie) so I'm not too worried.
HEA will be milk in tea and HEB will probably be a fibre plus bar later on.
My new SW mag arrived today, so going to see what meals I can cook whilst I'm at home and have a fully functioning kitchen. Oh and here comes the snow!!!Slimming World Restart Again 14/02/11: 152lbs

You must be 'oop north' dimbo, if it's snowing with you. Well done on sliding effortlessly into EE, at least with full facilities you can try a few dfferent recipies.
Another EE day for me and a few extra syns. It seems ridiculous to worry about losing weight but as it wasn't planned it's been making me think.
Today's menu:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, baked beans, HEA milk for teas
L: grapefruit (rest of tin from yesterday)grilled gammon steak, cauliflowe cheese, mushrooms, tomato, sweet potato wedges
Syns: weekend wine:T cornflour and probably xtra As and Bs in cheese sauce0 -

If I start giving myself any leeway now I will just end up back at 14 stone again:eek: (I don't need any excuse for 'a little comfort food' to turn into a daily binge fest:p
Hello Lovely folks of the SW thread
Massive Dizzy Hugs on their way to those in need......especially to TIE - I really feel for you Hun with everything that life has been throwing at you recentlyx x x
My week has gone by in a blur of hospital visits, the good news is though that after having her bowel stent fitted - MIL was sent home today with a pallitive care team seeing her at home & arrangements will be made through them for her to go into the local hospice when its absolutely necessary.
She does seem a lot brighter today though...and is not complaining of ANY pain yet (except the rotten flipping gout which has flared up in her knee & ankle while she was in hosp:() she is adament she wants to finish icing the 5 Xmas cakes for family members herself too!:o To look at her you really do wonder if they have got the diagnosis wrong.....and that it can't really be true that this horrible disease is spreading so rapidly inside her giving her so little time....we just pray now that with how she looks she maybe will get her wish to see one last Xmas with us all :A
On a lighter note, I weighed in yesterday and got a 2lb loss, I was pretty chuffed with that as I had a bad day on Tues involving 2 toasted currant teacakes & a full fat Latte.....oh & 5 green triangles from a tin of quality street:o
Off to my bed now- nighty night all x x0 -
Good to see you posing (that was meant to be posting:o) dizzy, we've been thinking of you. I think it's really lovely that your MIL wants to ice the cakes, what a lovely person. I'm sure they'll be much appreciated both this year and every Christmas to come.:)
Well done on your 2lbs, it's all helping to put right the holiday damage. I'm sure there'll be plenty of temptations in the coming weeks, so stick with it while you can.
I had 7 extra syns tonight (mini chocolate bar). The longer I do SW the more psychological I realise it is, which in turn is symptomatic of people's relationship with food. I've never really thought about it before. It seems because I know I'm under target and a bit worried about it, I've got to 'syn' to make up for it. I'm not even a big fan of chocolate.
I've got some bhajis and samosas lined up for tomorrow, much more my idea of syns!:D0 -
Had a 3lb loss in week one then fell off the wagon for the christmas parties. Need to get back on it tomorrow for a week in the run up to the big day. Pleased with the 3lb loss but had had a sneaky peek one day and it said 6lb so bit disappointed.
Ok week 2 is going to be very hard for me because (a) this is when i get bored (b) it is almost xmas. Will plan menus all week from tomorrow - that is where I went wrong this week, lack of planning. Changed WI to a Friday as I tend to be OK in the week but Syn at weekends. Think this will work well for me.
If I can start January lighter than I am right now, that has got to be a bonus?! Might promise myself a huge (non food) treat to bribe myself to stick to the plan this week!0 -
Didn't feel too good yesterday - tummy was decidedly off
:(..but feel loads better today.
Gonna have smoked haddock for tea - not certain about lunch yet!
I am sat here in DD2's size 14 jeans:j:j!!! Not bad for someone who was a 24 18 months ago!
DD2 doesn't mind - she's picked up some slimming world habits and has dropped down to a 12!:j:beer::jFlylady and proud of it:j0
