ammonite -- the a and b are as you said. If you go to first page of this thread there is an explaination of EE but if I was you I would still run with the red and green. Many many lose weight on green or red alone.(unfortunately I at moment am not one of them:sad:)

TIE if your eating biscuits and loosing all credit to you. i put on weight if i look at one

flat eric - you can turn it round now and have a good week :o

blackberry rum - do you still loose on an easygoing week? i am very jealous

the meal out last night was not bad - parsnip soup (prob syn for cream etc), turkey, carrots, parsnips and cranberry sauce (syn gravy etc) and i small scoop ice cream for pud (syn) resisted the mince pies after :o
i have been 100% all week so not sure how much 1 meal will show on the scales? seeing as i was 100% both weeks before and lost 1.5, then sts i am not expecting anything. (it is also * week)

    red today:
b: grapefruit, tangerine covered in a mandarin mullerlight yoghurt.
    l: 2 nimble & frylight egg.
d: planning simply cook turkey basted joint - prob with carrots & gravy.

have to go shopping today as running out of fruit/veg. mullerlights i'm fine for as i bought 24 when they were on 12 for £3 :D

Nope, I am maintaing Saidan, so I have a lot more leeway. I can't remember what's on my sig line now, but I hit a target of just under 10st, then after a few months decided to knock off another half stone and simply couldn't, I just hovered around the 9.75 point the whole time so I have decided to stick at that, and some weeks I am a pound up and some a pound or two down (ie almost at my yearned for target) so I dont fret any more. Now my only target (I gave up classes a month or so ago, after 2 years) is to stay under 10 st. By the way if that's what you ate yesterday I would say your problem is you are not eating nearly enough. I eat five or six times that. Don't mind me mentioning it.

    Hello :A

Can I creep in here sheepishly? I have been following Pro Points on Weight Watchers loosely for about a year. I have gained nearly a stone in that time. I can no longer pretend that I am following any sort of diet other than the "See-food" diet :) Actually in all honest, I eat a piece of toast, a sandwich, a banana and a small portion of evening meal plus an unhealthy snack in the evening. Although the unhealthy snack could go, I'm not sure how else I can cut my food intake down without keeling over.

I'm dreading Christmas mainly because I can't face the fact there will be lots of food to eat and if I end up in the next stone bracket on New Years Day I think I might cry.

I have several food intolerances which mean I generally eat a lot of carbs and protein and zero fruit and veg. I can't eat any fibre nor spicy food or herbs. Bland food is where it is at!

I lost weight successfully on slimming world years ago under the red/green days. I want to give it another go but I'm not sure how the new days are all set up.

I was an online WW member and would like to sign up online for SW but until I'm sure the diet will be suitable for me (i.e. can eat a reasonable amount of food in any given day) I don't want to waste loads of money signing up to find it is not right for me.

I am not an exerciser, but I'm willing to give it a go if it starts off easy....

Does anyone know if there is an online trial that I can do to see if the diet is suitable? I have about 40lb to lose :o

Ammonite, go to the Slimming World Website www.slimmingworld.com and there you can find a weekly plan, look at it or try it out, you dont have to be a member to get that far into the website. Slimming World isn't about eating teensy amounts though, it's about eating plenty of healthy food. I'm sure you could do the green plan (which might be spelled out on the website, I can't remember) which is more carbs - lots of potatoes, rice etc. Your healthy extra Bs on a green plan can be meat or fish, they don't have to be bread or ryvita or anything. they can even be extra cheese! It doesnt sound as if you are doing yourself any favours at the mo, so try out from the website for nothing and see what you think. look here's the menu page but it seems to be only for extra easy at the moment http://www.slimmingworld.com/healthy-eating/non-vegetarian-menu.aspx

eta how on earth do I change my sig, I want to change it to show that I am THERE now!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Thanks for the reply blackberry - :) I think the red/green do sound OK, it would be the 1/3rd of a plate that I would find hard on Extra Easy. I used to do 5 red and 2 green a week in the olden days and lost over 2 stone AND ate a bar of chocolate every night!!

Now, I can help you with something! Click on User CP at the top of the board, then on the right click 'edit signature' - hope that helps :)

After a rather disastrous weekend (who said fish adn chips and rich tea biscuits?) the scales are being remarkably kind this morning. I did start the 30-day Shred after reading about it on here, so perhaps that's evening things out a bit. Even got up half an hour earlier this morning to do it - can't imagine I'll be that dedicated for the whole 30 days!

I'm back from my long weekend of wining and dining in France. Totaly flexi, but as it was a holiday then it's the law!;)

I've been back on plan since yesterday and will be until Thursday when first of Christmas meals out is happening. I made a slow cooker full of beef stew overnight. Very mse as I cut a chunk off yesterday's joint to make it with. Beef joints were on offer at a price per kg cheaper than stewing beef so it made sense.

    Today's EE menu:

B: HEB Marmite toast, pineapple, HEA milk for teas
    L: beef stew
D: stir fry with Golden rice
Snacks: finish pineapple and maybe 1 more toast
    Syns: definitely not!!!
