i count them daily - including WI day.
i plan to be able to 'keep a few' for the weekend now and then...

but last week i was 100%, not over 70 syns for 7 days, and only lost 1.5lb. so i am quite jealous of you lot who can have a WI treat with no ill-effect......

i've only got to look at a choccie bar and i put on a few lbs

dh is doing SW at home so he's not buying me choccie LOL, and did make me stroll to the shop with his this morning - and treated me to a diet cola
    Proud mum :T

Do post pic zippy, you'll get that extra weight off in no time. It's great when clothes start to fit properly. I took an age to drop a dress size which just showed how much I'd poured myself into the wrong size earlier!

Here goes :o I got them back today so must maybe try them on later

Pics of me at my goal weight - just over a stone from my weight now

    pics removed

i'm a bit bummed out by not losing the past week or two. I may start posting my food diaries again :o

Ill take the links down in a bit if that's ok :o

Todays menu is a bad example of a normal day but here goes.

B HM veg and chicken/lentil soup (it was this or nothing but ive been shopping now lol!)
    Banana
L HM Lentil and carrot/leek soup
PIneapple, 2 muller lights with strawberries, Apple
Milk HEA and small bit cheese (measured so within the A)
D Steamed carrots, fried peppers and onions, potato cakey things i made up, and bacon and an egg
S later - HEB bar, strawberries, probably another mullerlight and syns i think will be 7 syns of measured crisps
Drinks - NAS squash, diet pepsi

    Zip

Edit to say - well done everyone on your losses. It's really motivating :j:p:D

    Thanks blackerry-rum.

I'm doing EE - never tried the red or green thing. I'm a newbie so EE seemed the best option! The chickpea stew had carrots, parsnips, onions, courgettes and tomatoes for veg - are they all superfree? Not sure about chickpeas - presume they're not superfree, just free?

The dinner had peas and onions - not great, I know. I oonly just discovered that peas don't count as superfree. Bah. In my defence it was made by my lovely DH who is also supposedly doing SW but not being very good at it!
ah! in that case you had PLENTY of superfrees! (but peas and chickpeas aren't, as you realised ;) )
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Hi Maman, yes I know I would normally eat more but I need to go shopping so having to make do for now. I'm not feeling hungry though but will definitely stock up on some veggies and yoghurts etc in the next few days. As I'm shunning the Mess dining room though, all I have at my disposal is a kettle, a toaster, a microwave and my slow cooker.

I think all NAS squash is free isn't it?
I think Maman was talking about a fruit drink though, rather than squash. And I don't know the answer! Re your kettle, toaster, microwave and slow cooker - that's all I've got. Oh no, I don't have a kettle or a toaster, I realised I don't use 'em so I binned them. And I cook everything from scratch so it's NO EXCUSE :rotfl:

Zippychick, you look lovely in those photos, curvy but definitely not fat or blobby - you will make it with those pics to urge you on :T:T:T

Well I weighed myself last night, when one weighs more than in the morning (and still damp from the shower which must add a bit) and weighed only just over 9.5 stone. That's fab, as it's half a stone less than I was a few years ago when I went to the gym a lot and thought I looked just fine! Now I'm going it alone for a few weeks I was afraid I'd gain but so far so good. My teacher did say I was a great maintainer, so she'd be surprised to find a few more pounds have dropped without the support of class. Proud of self. :D

thank you ! that's my goal pic which at that time was 1 stone 2-3lbs away from now.:o:j:p:beer::D

I don't know how, but i'm still hungry after dinner. This happened last night so i purposely made tonights a big feed! :o

Blackberry - very well done!smiley-bounce009.gif My pic has me just at a healthy BMI (top of the range) which is what makes me doubt - im scared i have more to lose than i really think i have - if that makes sense!

:T well done blackberry-rum, that's great. Your'e right it was a drink. I keep looking for something syn free to substitute for breakfast juice. I'll write down the details next time I'm in Aldi. Meanwhile I'll stick to Ribena.

:D fab photos zippy, very motivating. You look really curvy and not flabby at all. Thanks for posting them.

I must confess to a small piece of chocolate tonight.:o In my defence it was a taste test to see if we liked Aldi's chocolate as it had been recommended. We're off to France next week and I didn't want DH to be buying bars of Lindt over there if I could persuade him that Aldi's was perfectly acceptable. It passed by the way and comes in 5 little bars so I wasn't tempted to break big lumps off.

WI for me tomorrow. Fingers crossed I'll still be in target range.

1.5 pounds lost today for weigh in, so that makes up fo last week's half pound gain. 13 pounds to goal!
  • Hello all.

I joined my local SW 3 weeks ago and have lost 5 1/2 lbs! I have 4 more weigh ins before xmas and hope to lose 2lbs a week (a further 8 in total) which will take me to my 10% target of 10st 1/2lbs. Ideally I'd like to get to 9st 7lbs but know to achieve this I'm going to have to start exercising! *recharges batteries for wi-fit board*

I seem to use most of my syns on milk (like my tea milky) so I've started using skimmed milk instead. I've stopped drinking wine and any other alcoholic tipple (I'm going to be such a lightweight at xmas!). No morsel of chocolate has passed my lips either! Which for me is a miracle!

I'm veggie but found EE to be the best to follow.

Welcome decogecko and good luck with your Christmas target. You're right that EE is the easiest to follow but if you did green as a veggie then, I believe, you could have twice as much milk each day. It's worth thinking about.

I've just got back from WI and I've only put on 0.5lbs! So I'm still 0.5lbs under target. I'm delighted with that considering all the flexi days I've had in last 2 weeks. The pattern for the next 2 weeks looks much the same so I'm grabbing every opportunity to be syn free in between.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS squash, HEB Puffed Wheat, HEA milk plus teas, banana
L: stir fry veg with noodles or maybe golden rice
D: SW chilli pork with cabbage and roasties
    Snacks: fruit if needed
    Syns: none!!
