Senora I have no idea how to get DH to understand how serious I am about SW. He has told me that I snore every night and I explained that weight gain can cause snoring. Even that hasn't made a difference. He is trying to cheer me up too and does it because he loves me. He has at least stopped buying me maltesers
Aldi's 'fat free' yogurts vary depending on flavour, poohbear. Brooklea Virtually Fat Free is FREE! Let me know if it's a flavoured one and I'll look it up for you.
My DH is very much on board, full of compliments for my weightloss and makes me SW friendly breakfast every morning BUT that doesn't stop him offering me a glass of wine midweek! You've got to love them haven't you?0 -

Cheer up saidan. That menu looks fine, hope it agrees with you. I must admit I was sceptical when I first started but it does work if you stick with the plan. Now I'm a convert. Stick with it!!
Welcome nic, it's good to have you with us. I live in a city so we've loads of groups on every day of the week. I bet we don't have the lovely scenery that you do though. I'm not an expert on green but your menu looks fine to me. Good luck with using your old books, but if you wanted new ones you could always just go to one class, get the talk on EE and the books then go it alone after that.0 -
We started on Monday, i weighed in at 14 stone on the nose. im only 5 ft 3 so feel very heavy and low self esteem.
Hugs. I started in Feb this year at nearly 18 stone and I'm only 5 ft 1! I've just restarted at 15stone 5. Don't let it get you down....well just enough so that you stick to SW eating0 -
I'm not encouraging you to be greedy (as I am:o) dimbo, but that doesn't look like an awful lot of food for a day. We all get days when we have to grab what we can but you can end up not eating enough. :T on going alcohol free last night. I didn't know NAS lime existed.
Which reminds me, I saw NAS cranberry & raspberry fruit drink in Aldi yesterday. Would it being NAS automatically make it free?
Hi Maman, yes I know I would normally eat more but I need to go shopping so having to make do for now. I'm not feeling hungry though but will definitely stock up on some veggies and yoghurts etc in the next few days. As I'm shunning the Mess dining room though, all I have at my disposal is a kettle, a toaster, a microwave and my slow cooker.
I think all NAS squash is free isn't it?
Anyway today has been another green day:
B - Dorset cereal fruit porridge and 1 x original ryvita (HEB) with added raspberries, strawberries and blueberries. 125ml of skimmed milk (part HEA)
S - Grapes
L - Superspeed soup
S - 2 x ryvita (3 syns) and a banana
D - 2 x WG toast (HEB) and baked beans
S - Options hazelnut (1 1/2 syns), apple, plum
I have also just returned from the gym where I burned 843 cals. Go me. No 30 day shred today though, I think I have done enough. I'm out again tonight at a function, so hopefully can stick to the soda and lime again.Slimming World Restart Again 14/02/11: 152lbs

Hi, do you mind of I join you all? Ive done SW before and lost 3 1/2 stone, but its all back on after my last baby. So im in the right frame of mood to start properly again. Ive been eating a lot healthier for a couple of months but not sticking to SW properly and still having those naughty evening treats.
I do loads of walking as I need to do 2 school runs, nursery run (also at the school) plus walk back to whatever dancing class etc my DD has on that evening. I do around 5 miles a day, maybe more. So if I stick to the plan it should help me lose faster than when i did no exercise at all and still lost.
My DH is doing it along with me as he has a couple of stone he'd like to lose. Im aiming for 1 stone by xmas then hopefully 3 stone in total.
We started on Monday, i weighed in at 14 stone on the nose. im only 5 ft 3 so feel very heavy and low self esteem.
my books are from Jan 2010 so not sure if syn values have changed. if anyone sees anything not right would they mind telling me? My nearest class is 24 miles away over a country road. My eyesight is terrible in the dark, so im going to try it alone til the new year, then join a class once the worst weather is over. I live in rural Aberdeenshire and im just waiting for the snow lol
Im having a green day today.
B- 2 x poached egg on toast
L- baked potato with tinned spaghetti, salad and cherry toms.
D- Quorn chicken Stirfry with noodles (using frylight, garlic, lemon juice and ginger)
snacks, loads of fruit, NAS squash.
Ill have toast with my cheese hea for supper tonight.
Syns spread on my toast 2, kitkat 5 1/2
Hi Nic - I'm 5 ft 3 too and I started my weight loss journey at 14.5. So I know how you feel.
Today I weigh 10 stone 6 and have held it between 10 st 1 and 10 st 10 for over a year now. So it can be done! Been overweight all my life too so never really believed I'd get here. Didn't do it with SW, to be fair, but have been losing gently for the past five weeks with SW.0 -

I was just interested to know what day you count your syns from? Do you count from Sunday/Monday (beginning of the week?) or the day after you weigh (whether in class or at home/scales in chemists).
I weigh on a Tuesday so tuesday night usually involves a treat post weigh in that isn't counted and I start afresh on Wednesday morning but this week after I had too many syns on Sunday, I was tempted to give myself back my weekly syn allowance and start afresh on Monday.
What do you do ?0 -

We've started a clothes fund, and he puts money in that instead of buying me treats! I'll need a lot of new clothes probably at half way point and then WHEN I get to target, so it'll help towards that. Would something like that work for you?
I STS at weigh in tonight. I'm actually :j:j with that, as I had tgi friday, harvester, kfc and galaxy chocs this week:rotfl: Totally on plan again this week tho, really want to do 2stone by my last weigh in before xmas/new year which is 14th Dec. So 3 weeks. Go go go!

I don't count my syns weekly, I do it daily. But, I don't count syns on WI day, use that as my treat day"Empires are not brought down by outside forces, they are destroyed by weaknesses from within."0
