That's very do-able piglet. It took me 10 months to lose that amount of weight so you're doing famously!!:T Is your target close?

no...not at all...i could easy loose the same again..:o:o:o

i am 5 ft 6 and as of last nite i was 14 stone 12:o

i was so delited to look down at the scales an see 14 anything tho:D

i few girls in work have said to me...u have lost enough now...but they dont know what weight i am...:o:o:o:o:o

im a size 16 now (from 22):D and i would like to get down to a 12, i am finding theres around one stone between sizes at the mo, but i know loosing 2 stone isnt enough cause at 12 .12 i am still overweight, :o

i am thinking i will set a final target when i get another stone off, but i think it will be around 11.12, which at the mo is very far away, so im not setting a final target just yet, :(

People are weird piglet. THey have their own issues about wanting you to still be bigger than them - there's always someone who says 'ooooh, don't lose any more'. And it's always when you know you've got several stone left to go! There were a couple of people at my work who did that when I was doing Alizonne last year. It's really annoying because it's always the skinniest ones who have a vested interest in you still being the 'fat' one! Don't listen to them. Only you know when you're happy with your weight. I went from size 20 to 12 and it was around size 14 that I got the comments.

It's also because you start to look so different, and it discombobulates them. People who go from being very overweight to being in a normal range very often do look like completely different people, particularly when they start wearing new styles or have their hair done, because they feel confident.

thanks...my mum always says the same.....(she got her 4 stone award last nite...and like that....could loose the same again...and some have said to her...ohhh dont loose any more) she does say a lot of people can be very jealous too...

have you stayed around the size 12 mark then?

i said when i started, i dont care what weight i am, but i would like to b a size 14, now i am down to a 16, i would like to be a 12, its addictive, but i dont want or expect to get any smaller than that.

:T this is for your mum, piglet, what a clever family!!

I've experienced the 'that's enough' from a few friends and family (mostly my very overweight SIL:rotfl:) but I had a target weight firmly in mind so I just ignored them. I remembered what I'd weighed when I was happy with my size and aimed for that. I'm 5ft 9 and was just pushing a size 18. I'm now a size 12 and weigh 10st 7lbs. I think I look thinner and many people would be surprised that I'm not lighter but it's just about right for my height.

Have you looked at the height/weight chart in the book?

    thank you so much,
i must be the same, anyone who knows i was 18.1 is shocked...they cant believe i was that heavy...few would believe i am 14.12 now...:o

but i will keep going, the chart allows me to be up to 11.2, my own GP says 11 1/2 til 12 would be fine for me...:D

which is why i was thinking of 11.12 as a final target, that gives me a range of 11.9 / 12.1, so....thats 3 stone more...:o:o:eek:

but everyone who says to me "OMG...look at the weight u lost....you must be at ur target now"...and i say "no...i need to loose the same again.." they dont believe me...and i honestly dont think they are just trying to be nice....
  • Totally agree with you Piglet

Everyone was shocked when i said i weighed over 19stone when i started!

They still don't think i look like nearly 16.5stone now! (i don't either - must be the way i dress!)

Sorry been MIA over last couple of weeks - been manic with Work & Uni!

So last week i stay the same & i didn't know why - got really stroppy bout it!

And this week i loose 1lb which i don't understand cos i ate so much c**p!

    New week this week!

    Green day

    B - FF from frais & cherries
    L - Mushroom lasagne
    S - Banana, pasta, mugshot
    D - Veg soup
S - Fibre Plus bar (heb) and might make Scan bran carrot cake for second heb! Or go with cheese on scan bran!

Got lots of carrots to use up tonight - they were on the turn last night so peeled them all & put in water - now need to decide what to do with them!

Also got butternut squash at home to use up - Any suggestions?

Good luck for the week ahead xxx

People at group were talking about buying loads of veg when on offer and some said they chop the carrots up and put them in freezer. It makes sense as we can all buy frozen veg! Some blanche veg -- broc and caulis and then freeze them. I intend trying with big bag carrots got in T for 78p. You could try freezing the carrots:think:

Oh and learned that tomato puree is now free!!!
