I know I don't have to wear black and my Dad wouldn't be bothered but I just feel the need. My Dad's favourite colour was blue and we did talk about the family all wearing something blue but turns out no-one has anything suitable in blue
. When I say his colour was blue I mean really was, we grew up with every room in the house blue, he even painted the kitchen cabinets blue, think he got a job lot of paint :rotfl:. Think its put us off blue now. The only blue I wear is denim
I will be wearing a white coat as thats all I've got and my sister is wearing a red one so its not all black. Just got to get through this week now
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

4.5 for 25g of popcorn cooked without fat is the nearest I could find on the website. It seems a lot of syns but 25g of popcorn is probably quite a lot of bulk.hi all

6 syns each for the milk chocolate ones.
tie, I do understand why you want to turn out smartly for your dad. I did go to a funeral recently where red was a favourite colour and all the family wore black but with a red tie or scarf. But sorting out that sort of thing is probably the last thing you want to be bothered with. Just sending you this :grouphug: and hope it helps to keep you strong in the week ahead.0 -
Morning all.
Has anyone got any brilliant tips for low-syn chocolate bars that they use for THOSE moments when you just really need something chocoaltey or sweet? I've already discovered the cadbury light mousse, whcih are 2.5 syns, but they aren't always handy when you need one. I guess I'm thinking of something like a curly wurly which I know on WeightWatchers is low points (I checked on syns and they aren't particularly low). Or anything you alwys throw in the trolley at the supermarket for snacky syns during the week?
Thanks! I am doing it online without any books so there may well be some list somewhere that I'm unaware of, but if you could help me out that would be great.
Hello, I always put Kellogs Fibre Plus bars in my trolley. You can get milk or plain chocolate ones and I usually buy the ones that are cheapest (plain at the moment in Tesco). One bar is one healthy B choice or 6 synns and they are really chocolatey. x0 -
OK, need to slap myself about a bit here. Pound on over the weekend (unsuprising) and it's weigh in day on Thurs, so I have three days to get rid of it plus hopefully a bit more. Breakfast was a banana and an Alpen light bar (for half a HEB). Lunch I didn't have time to make but I'll get a jacket potato and salad probably. I have the other alpen bar with me to make up the HEB, plus milk for HEA in teas nad coffees, a muller light and an orange. No idea for dinner - possibly the pork roast we have in the fridge with lots of veggies0

Hi Blackberry
Well I've (more or less, nothing major amiss) had a weekend on plan , which is a good positive step for me as weekends are usually a bit of a challenge for me. On Friday I made a big pot of soup and a huge chicken casserole and froze some. Both had loads of super free veggies and were really filling ( polishes halo
)
I really need to do this and am feeling really 'in the zone' at the moment. I forgot to post that I had a 1lb loss at Thurs WI which I was pleased about but really need to up my game as the closer we get to Christmas the harder it's going to get , temptation wise. I'm afraid if I don't get a good weightloss after all this effort I might just be inclined to 'take a break' until New year, which is what I did last year .......... and look where that got me!
Sorry I'm rambling I guess I'm a bit like a pringle, once I pop I just can't stop :rotfl: I'll shut up now.
Keep going everyone, we can do this :TWhen Life Throws You Lemons Make Lemonade0 -

I'm determined to fit in as many 'good' on-plan days between now and Christmas to offset all the 'bad' days whith nibbles, extra alcohol etc So, it's a bit of yo-yoing putting on and taking off the same few pounds.;)
Today's EE:
B: NAS squash, baked beans, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas
L: bubble & squeak, pickled beetroot
beef stir-fry with masses of veg, Golden Rice or noodles
Snacks: toast & Marmite
Syns: probably none but maybe 0.5 if I have ready-to-wok noodles0 -
Hello to all new and old and returners! (I have lurked here for so long that I feel I know everyone from past to present:o) and well done to everyone because keeping motivated at times can be very hard!
Thinking of you at this time TIE.
I have been on off on off for a few weeks now but got a kick to get started (thank you Maman). I have been really good this week, will know tomorrow what the scales say.
Anyway over the past days I have found myself getting lightheaded and weak when I get up or rush to do something. Has anyone else felt like this while doing SW? I have been doing red days mostly and cutting back on wine!! I have eaten very little to no bread/potatoes and nothing sweet at all. (although I am a cheese & wine person rather than chocolate;)) Was at drs three weeks ago and blood pressure fine.
Sorry about the long post but am curious as to what others think.0 -
