Can someone please tell me how to subscribe to this thread (I ask every time we have a new one but never remember!) sorry to be a pain !!! x
all I do is save it in my Favourites (or "bookmark" it), each time I go back I click on the little white words on the green line near the top of the thread that says "Go to first unread". Easy peasy.
Dinner was lovely! Made a kind of Jambalaya thing, no chorizo though as my local shop didnt have any. Was syn free, just cost me a HeB.

ooh speaking of chorizo, I saw a recipe for stuffed marrow on the BBC website today, I think it has no syns except the 100g of chorizo (and it would be for about 6 people I think

I love having enough for three or four days, even if I do different vegetables to go with it. Saves so much time as I prepare my next day's lunch in the evening. I had leftover fish pie today, I froze it weeks ago, yummy!
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

    Another rubbish day

Went to see the GP today to get the results of recent blood test because we have been trying for a baby for a long time and it's not happening. It turns out that I am not ovulating at all. My progesterone level is very low- 1.5. I have been referred to the fertility clinic. Both of us are very sad so the diet today has been out of the window. DH took me out for curry. I don't even want to think about how many syns it was. I even had the dessert. Hopefully will be back on track from tomorrow.

So sorry you got bad news but don't give up hope of having a baby. No one can blame you for ditching the plan for a day or two but you are going to need to be fit and healthy if you start thinking about IVF. Stay positive. x

Can anyone offer any tips for someone who has only ever known red or green and has never been able to get on with Extra Easy since it was introduced ?

and does anyone know if we can still do Mix to Match ?

Hi Flat Eric, good to see you back :)

Mix2Max stopped when EE came in. They are very similar but I think EE is easier. There's a 7 day menu on the SW website and the rules are on post 1 of this thread.

Give it a go, I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised and, as always, if you want any more help, just ask :D

I'm sorry to hear your news, but don't despair. My daughter and her hubby tried for 6 years after being told she had PCOS and would find it very difficult to get pregnant. I now have the most beautiful Grandson who will be 3 next month.

Not to be trivial but someone told me to buy my DD an angel and she would be pregnant within the year. I bought her a little angel ornament with her birthstone on it and she was indeed pregnant shortly after.....I'm a sucker for superstitions, lol.

    Hi everyone

Susiebear glad you didn't have any ill effects from the cake, but must admit your story made me giggle, that is just the sort of thing that happens to me.

moneyqueen can fully understand not sticking to plan today, I hope you get an appointment through quickly.

Have stuck to plan today and my daughter made the Khichri out of a curry collection booklet from a couple of years ago, it was lovely to come home to dinner being cooked and it tasted and smelt great.
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.
