Had my WI this morning and I've lost the 2.5lbs I put on over recent weeks/holiday so I'm a happy bunny!:D I'm now just 0.5lb inside the lowest target range. So, I can afford a few treats but I'm well set up for the wedding and invitation to posh afternoon tea coming up in next couple of weeks.

sarahs999, we were shown a new SW soup recipe book this morning. I'm not trying to sell it but I though you might be interested. Personally I prefer to buy the magazine as I find the books are often compilations of magazine recipes over time.

My EE menu for today:
B: NAS squash, HEB Puffed Wheat, plum, HEA milk for teas
L: bubble & squeak, pickled beetroot
D: beef stir fry with noodles and a big pile of veg
Snacks: Last plum!!!
Syns: I think there's 0.5 syn in ready to wok noodles I've got and I might have a couple of squares of chocolate later, so nothing major.

Thank you - I'll keep an eye out. I'm quite enjoying the magazines too so might continue with them too, but I know where to go if I'm short of inspiration!

• Hi Everyone, I'm a newbie to the forum but not to SW. I joined in June 2011 and have lost 1st so far. I'm really struggling at the mo and need some inspiration.I only lose about a pound a week if I'm lucky as I can't do serious exercise due to arthritis.I do the EE pan.
My consultant says maybe I don't eat enough free/superfree, but I eat loads of fruit and veg like there's no tomorrow.
Any advice please

Hi piglet  heres the recipe i used
SW Chocolate cup cakes 1syn each makes 18

6 Eggs (free)
14 level tablespoons of Splenda (free)
2 oz Self Raising Flour (9 Syns)
2 teaspoons of Baking Powder(1 Syn)

Couple of drops of Vanilla Essence (free)
2 Tablespoons of Nutella (8 Syns)

Put the eggs, sweetner and vanilla essence into a bowl and whisk with electric whisker until the mixture trebles in size ….. about 10 minutes, should be light bubbly and golden.
Then sift the flour and baking powder into the bowl and fold in with a metal spoon to the egg mixture.
Split into 18 cake cases and put in the oven (middle shelf) on 180 – 200 for about 10 minutes until golden on top.

A pound a week isn't bad I don't think. I know seems slow but it would be 3 and a half stone a year.

What do you eat usually, do you eat a lot of speed foods? If you post your food diary maybe we could help?

Thanks for the reminder kelk, I love quiche and I'm always on the lookout for things to eat when I've used all my HEB at breakfast and can't have a sandwich. I don't want to start a sausage war ;)but which ones do you use?

Welcome ashlin. I got to my target doing little or no excercise (cos I'm lazy:o) so I wouldn't worry about that you'll still lose weight steadily. I agree, your best bet is to post your menus on here and we'll advise as best we can.
