    Good morning folks :D

Well done to all the losers - extra well done to Mrs M - you are an inspiration to us all.

Oh Dizzeeeeee - I said - oh DIZZeeeeeeeeeeee! Do my eyes decieve me or are we all wired for sound these days?

Sorry for being AWOL for the last 3 weeks - been on me jollies to Zante for a week - came back to a 4lb gain smiley-ashamed005.gif

Never mind - after what I ate for the week I was lucky it was only 4lbs:rotfl:

WI day for me today so with some measure of trepidation I approached the dreaded scales smiley-rolleyes008.gif

    And ......................... Drum roll please

Oh do I feel good this morning :D Whilst I enjoyed the brief deviation from plan It feels good to back on the wagon and not feeling bloated ;)

Just made a massive pan full of Leek and Pumpkin soup to take for our packed lunches. Need to get it into containers and freeze it now, Wont be easy though - not got enough containers so will have to bag some of it.

Better get on with the soup marathon or it wont make it into the freezer if DH has anything to say about it - just caught him stood by the bowl with a spoon in his hand - you just cannot trust them smiley-rolleyes008.gif

Well done!! You must be thrilled.....hope you had a lovely holiday x

I had a lovely holiday thanks Clover - most of it spent on me backside on a sun lounger

I have found the ultimate value for money fruit - pomegranite - 50p each and it has just taken me over an hour to eat one! :rotfl:

Well done Mags :T fantastic loss, good to see your holiday gain didn't hang around long :D

Haven't seen Dizzy yet, hope shes not still down with the fluie thing from last week.

Someone mentioned a cold drink 1st thing being an aid to weight loss [sorry forgotten who]. Can't comment on whether it aids loss as am at target and 'trying' to maintain but I have a cold glass of water every morning followed by a hot coffee, don't know if it kick starts my metabolisim but it does kick start something sick0019.gif :rotfl:. Maybe thats why they say it aids weight loss :p
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

:Tcongratulations Mags on losing the holiday gain. I agree it's a nice feeling to get back on plan after a break. I feel I've adjusted well to the SW way of eating. All (well almost all:o) the things we know aren't good are relegated to occasional treats which is as it should be. Healthy food becomes the norm.

    My EE plan:
B: NAS squash, HEB porage, banana, HEA milk
L: HM lentil & veg soup, 2 plums
D: roast beef, roast potatoes and parsnips, cabbage, cauli, broccoli, gravy
Syns: tbsp of syrup with porage, gravy, wine syns, maybe tsp of horseradish

Had a bit of a disastrous night SW wise (lovely night-out wise though!). Went for a Chinese meal with lots of wine and a sod-it dessert. I did go for a run to mitigate the weight gain so hopefully that worked! Back on the wagon today though:

    EE Plan for today

B: Fruit n Fibre, HEB with milk HEA
L: Pitta Bread, carrot sticks and Houmous (11.5 syns)
    D: Beef chilli with Rice
    S:Muller Light coconut, fruit

    Have a good evening!

Been lousy all week still ..I've coughed so much I've pulled a muscle round my rib...spent the week up at BIL's with the dogs (which I could have done without to be honest :() and this weekend in bed again, but I'm just starting to feel a bit brighter today.
    - and the small bar of dairymilk that jumped into my mouth earlier was purely for midicinal purposes :o:rotfl:

Had a fairly off plan week this week.....not been eating rubbish as such, just not really eating much of anything regularly enough I don't think and definately struggled most days with the fruit intake. But hey ho - what can you do if you feel pooey and just want to sleep :o

Fab news about MrsM eh :T:j:beer:
Hope everyone else is doing ok & staying glued to the tank? :Ax x

:wave:ShrinkingSavingKaren. This thread can be anything you want it to be. There's chat, support, questions and loads of people (me included) post up their menus for the day. You're obviously an old hand at SW but if you want comments on your menus just ask. I find that posting my plan helps me think through what I'm eating (especially good for checking that I have enough SFs planned in) and it makes a sort of commitment too plus I like reading what everyone else eats for ideas.

Good to see you back for your weekend visit dizzy, sorry you've been feelng yuk. How much longer is the dog-sitting likely to go on for?

I've got visitors arriving tomorow then we're off to France for a few days from Tuesday. Tomorrow's food will be all SW friendly but there will be weekday wine syns which is unusual. In France, I think hotel breakfasts will be OK but I expect to put on a few pounds with other meals and drinks. Then it'll be back home and strictly SW for a week or so to get back to target.
