Really? But 100g of raspberries is exactly the same whether you eat them one by one or blitz them in a blender. Is it pre-made purees that are synned?
Any sort of pur!e fruit is synned but personally if you were going to eat say 100g of fruit anyway then decided to pur!e it instead I wouldn't bother counting it. It's only if you added loads more that I'd count the syns. Hths. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Aah but they are not the same - whole fruit will keep you full for a lot longer than pureed fruit and that is the essence of SW. Take an orange and how long that will fill you up if you eat it. Then compare that to the juice of an orange (which is not much) - gone in a gulp and does not fill you up.0 -

Yes, but that's because you've left the pulp (and therefore fibre) behind in your juicer. If you puree the raspberries and put everything in the yogurt it's the same. Though I agree it might take longer to break down a chewed raspberry in your stomach than a pureed one.
What thrilling things to contemplate on a Friday morning! :rotfl:0 -
Stayed with a friend last night and went out for a meal. I even tried cheesy chips:o so definitely not SW friendly. DH's face was a picture when I ordered the chips, he's become my SW conscience!:rotfl: I had breakfast with her, too, but that was much better. So slightly back on track today.
Today's EE menu:
B: HEB wholemeal roll, bacon, black tea, water
L: gammon, bubble & squeak, pickled beetroothaddock, SW chips, cauli cheese (HEA milk), tomatoes, mushrooms
Syns: weekend wine:j low fat spread (in roll), tbsp cornflour (shared with DH), cheese
I don't know if it'll help but I'm going to go easy on the HEA tomorrow to try and balance the cheese today. I am at target (exactly) but I don't want to go mad. I think I'll be OK provided I still keep thinking carefully about what I eat.0 -

Hi and welcome. Most Batchelors super noodles are free on both green and extra easy but not the chicken chow mein, ambient 86g pot, that is 6.1/2 on EE 18.1/2 on ORIGINAL and 6.1/2 GREEN.
Hope that helps. x0 -

It is actually the art of eating them that counts. When you eat the whole fruit (particularly something like apples/oranges etc., you use energy/calories in the actual eating of it - biting chewing and swallowing. Whereas pureed/stewed fruit requires no effort and therefore have to be sinned.0 -
I have just spent the last hour or so in the kitchen faffing with the sweet potato fritters recipe in this month's SW mag. I'm wondering where I went wrong - I added an egg thinking this would bind the mixture better but I have just gone to fry the first four fritters but instead of four fritters, I've ended up with one big fritter that has all but fallen apart - and isn't cooked. To bind the egg in, I used my food mixer which might be why ? Should I have let the mixture gone cold before cooking ? Its now in cooking in the oven as one big fritter while I sit here starving and very grumpy - not holding any hopes out what I have in the oven will turn out any better0

I thought it was only the 98% fat free noodles that were free, all the rest were synned. Has this now changed then?
WI this morning and as expected gained 1.2lb. After a really 'sod it' week I thought it would be more so can't complain. Think it must have been because I have been really tired and it was the lead up to half term [:j] that I just couldn't be bothered, hopefully next week will be better. Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
