MRS M congratulations. It is brilliant news. Take it easy and keep in touch.
Have been on holidays for a few weeks and have managed to gain 2.5 lb!! back on track from today. It has taken me ages to catch up and well done to everyone and some inspiring stories here. PIGLET you are really moving fast!
Someone asked about breakfast think it was FLAT ERIC.
When I was working I used to make yogurt flavoured pudding rice and make enough to take to work cold in the morning. A great filler.0 -
Have found a hidden supply of those coconut Muller lights in a different Co-op, I keep having them frozen at 9 pm, they're lovely!
I am in same frame of mind. Have just finished one. I love them!0 -
Many congratulations MrsM, and thank you so much for calling by to tell us the great news!0

woohoo ladies n gents.... sorry for being absent for so long - TakeItEazy is right it has been chaos here -between packing, humpin n dumpin and trying to co-ordinate it all with hospital appointments etc I have been meeting myself coming backwards some days.
I haven't fallen off the wagon although I haven't entirely on plan I have managed to loss a little more
I lost 2lb this week which Im more than happy with.
I thought I would pop on to share what a couple of ladies have read on my diary.....
A couple of weeks ago I had a couple of endoscopies and a pelvic MRI booked as I have an ongoing problem, well Last Wednesday I went back to the hospital to get the results, now the DR, was looking very shifty n nervous as he told me that the MRI hadn't been completed as they didn't inject the contrast dye as they had "discovered something" -so thats me sat there waiting for a bombshell -and boy did I get one... what did they find? the signs of an early pregnancy  -me n hubby have been trying for 9 years and not so much as a "scare" -so to say we are thrilled is and understatement. Its really early days yet so Im not counting my chickens (but actually getting pregnant is the best we have managed yet).... Im just waiting for a midwife appointment -but as Im moving back to the UK on Monday Im waiting until I get there so all my info is in one place. My system is all over the place but according to my working out I could be anything up to 12 weeks ....but Im not sure....
So at the grand old age of 40 (in december) and hubby at 47 we may well get our wish.
The only thing that has really changed is my weight loss so Im thanking SW for its part in this minor miracle and all you lovely lot for helping me along the way :kisses:
Im intending on staying as healthy as possible and keeping any gain down to actual baby and not filling my face -at the moment it seems very easy as Im determined to eat as healthy as possible and salad sandwiches on Hovis wholemeal granary are my fave thing ever :rotfl:
I will be back on a regular basis once I have settled and unpacked the 90 odd boxes I have packed (so far)....
I hope everyone is well...
That's absolutely fabulous I'm so pleased for you! I don't often post but I've read loads of your posts on the grocery threads and you've always been so lovely and helpful (and lots of yummy recipes). You'll be a lovely mummy but you probably won't have quite so much time to post on the threads;).
I really hope it all goes well for you and your hubby and best of luck with the move to the UK. Take care of yourself and don't be moving any boxes!

Ladies (and gents), you're more expert in the ways of SW than me so I thought I'd ask a question on how to [STRIKE]fiddle [/STRIKE] use the Healthy Extras in my diet.
I don't really like wholemeal bread and tend to buy or make my own granary bread. Is it possible to use this as a healthy extra and 'top it up' with syns if you know what I mean?
So if for example, two slices of wholemeal bread is a healthy extra and equates to around 5? syns, could I sub two slices of granary bread - 9 syns and minus the 5 syns to make it a HEB plus 4 syns?
Or am I just fooling myself......
It's just that I would see granary as more healthy and nicer than wholemeal and it's irritating that there's no way of eating it without using your syns!
Thanks folks,

Hi wbb, don't want to ignore you but sorry I can't help with the HEB question but hopefully someone will be along soon. Good to see you posting.
My planned EE day:
B: NAS squash, HEB toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried egg, small fried potato, HEA milk for teas
L: ham & tomato sandwich, apple and cottage cheeseliver & onions, mash, cauli, broccoli, peas, gravy
Snacks: probably not needed
Syns: may have tbsp of cornflour in gravy (shared with DH) depends on how it looks0 -
Thankyou so much for your lovely thoughts and kind wishes everyone
Thought I would pop by and I saw WeBeBrokes question about granary...
and I have an answer that might help
Like you I don't like wholemeal much and would rather have granary/seedy bread too, well last week I stumbled across Hovis wholemeal granary and couldn't resist (Im blaming my condition :rotfl:) It is gorgeous but you only get 1 slice for a heB or 5.5 syns -its is soooo worth it though and its proper substantial thick stuff, I do mainly red/green days so I use both heBs and buy a slice for 5.5syns so I can have salad sandwiches.. my fave meal right now, Hope it helps.....
Hope everyone is having a good day...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Great Thanks Mrs M! That's what I'll do then. I love the Hovis Granary too, it's all we buy at the moment if I don't make granary bread:).
