Going to start having a little more meat from now on - got a thing for chicken & mayo sarnie after my week!
Going to put a chicken stew in slow cooker tonight for tomorrow - I would think it is syn free if i use chicken thighs & take off skin before chucking in slow cooker!
Need to mix up my Heb aswell - might have some bread & use up ready brek!
Sorry for the waffle, knackered today! Cancelled my Zumba class so i can go home, have some leek & potato soup, chuck chicken stew in slow cooker & go to bed!
Good luck everyone x

*sneaks back in* ....
woohoo ladies n gents.... sorry for being absent for so long - TakeItEazy is right it has been chaos here -between packing, humpin n dumpin and trying to co-ordinate it all with hospital appointments etc I have been meeting myself coming backwards some days.
I haven't fallen off the wagon although I haven't entirely on plan I have managed to loss a little more
I lost 2lb this week which Im more than happy with.
I thought I would pop on to share what a couple of ladies have read on my diary.....
A couple of weeks ago I had a couple of endoscopies and a pelvic MRI booked as I have an ongoing problem, well Last Wednesday I went back to the hospital to get the results, now the DR, was looking very shifty n nervous as he told me that the MRI hadn't been completed as they didn't inject the contrast dye as they had "discovered something" -so thats me sat there waiting for a bombshell -and boy did I get one... what did they find? the signs of an early pregnancy  -me n hubby have been trying for 9 years and not so much as a "scare" -so to say we are thrilled is and understatement. Its really early days yet so Im not counting my chickens (but actually getting pregnant is the best we have managed yet).... Im just waiting for a midwife appointment -but as Im moving back to the UK on Monday Im waiting until I get there so all my info is in one place. My system is all over the place but according to my working out I could be anything up to 12 weeks ....but Im not sure....
So at the grand old age of 40 (in december) and hubby at 47 we may well get our wish.
The only thing that has really changed is my weight loss so Im thanking SW for its part in this minor miracle and all you lovely lot for helping me along the way :kisses:
Im intending on staying as healthy as possible and keeping any gain down to actual baby and not filling my face -at the moment it seems very easy as Im determined to eat as healthy as possible and salad sandwiches on Hovis wholemeal granary are my fave thing ever :rotfl:
I will be back on a regular basis once I have settled and unpacked the 90 odd boxes I have packed (so far)....
I hope everyone is well...-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

That is the most fantastic news. I can't tell you how pleased I am, I can tell by the way you write that this has been a much longed for pregnancy and I wish you and MR M all the very best. Take care of yourself MRS M (and little M of course) xx0 -

Have my sw head back in now after a few days of sulking! Survived my meals out without too much bother, I think I chose pretty sensibly. I did not choose sensibly with two snickers on Saturday tho

D chicken, rice, veg
good on ya. I don't feel nearly as guilty now about occasionally having ONE snickerscarrot/cucumber/pepper/spring onion sticks?
fruit thats in season and won't break the bank?
I agree re the carrots, I hate 'em cooked but am eating a lot raw lately, they take a long time to eat too. Now it's autumn the apples are really good too if you try different ones, not the boring golden delicious, and the pears.
Mrs M this is one of those times when I wish I could press the "Thanks" button a million times for you, I am so happy for you (it's weird, never having met you and I personally am not keen on babies and the whole pregnancy thing, forgive me) but just if anyone dserves their wish it is you - big higs and kusses from me!
And breakfasts, I forget who asked, sorry was it Flat eric? If you fancy a cooked breakfast but don't have time to faff in the morning you can cook it and plate it up the night before and just heat it in the microwave in the morning. Having said that, you can put bacon, sausages halved lengthwise, tomatoes, mushrooms onto a plate with some baked beans piled in the middle, cover it and mike it for 2 -3 minutes and it's cooked anyway. (the sausages might take a minute or two longer)
Have found a hidden supply of those coconut Muller lights in a different Co-op, I keep having them frozen at 9 pm, they're lovely!:jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

way to go MrsM!
I sts tonight - i'm glad that I didn't put anything on, but I am frustrated that I didn't lose anything........ Strangely enough I feel thinner this week! I found a tape measure today and I have now lost 8" off my boobs, 8" off my waist and a massive 13" off my hips! In fact my hips are down to 41" - and I haven't been this small in YEARS.......:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
