Hi all, need to start this up again. Haven't gained any weight since I stopped SW (um July) so not too bad, but still have more to go!

It was easy to do in May/June as I ate loads of fruit but now.... what do I sit at work and snack on? Can't do the strawberries, raspberries and cherries without taking out a loan!!!

Any ideas? I can do meals, it's just the snacky stuff I need to get into control :o
working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?

Hi - I'm still learning the system so hope you don't mind me being nosey! If you had toast as your HEB for breakfast, how are you having a sandwich at lunch and still not having syns?

Ask away, sarah, we're more than willing to share ideas. I have WW Brown Danish bread for my HEB. You're allowed 3 slices a day, so one for my breakfast and 2 for my lunch yesterday. It's very light and airy, so I always toast it even for the sandwiches.

I buy the frozen Summer Fruits (£3.94 per kg in Asda, maybe cheaper elsewhere) but they are supplemented by a load of blackberries I picked in the summer. I like them defrosted with a bit of sweetener and Greek yogurt on top. I'm also a fan of an apple chopped into cottage cheese. Then there's clementines, I eat loads of those because they're so easy and I'm so lazy:o

Ended up with a very greedy day yesterday but all syn free:j I had apple and cottage cheese and a pear as an afternoon snack. Then was suddenly starving about 11 p.m. so I had a JP with cottage cheese and pickled beetroot.

I've got a gammon joint cooking at the moment in my largest pan to give me plenty of stock for lentil soup.

    Today's EE menu:
B: NAS squash, HEB porage, banana, HEA milk plus teas
L: probably stir fry some veg and a few rice noodles
D: gammon, boulangere potatoes, cabbage, carrots
    Snacks: fruit
    Syns: None

Please share your breakfast choices? I am meal plannning and whilst I am not struggling for lunch or dinner ideas, breakfast is a meal I tend to forget about. Usually a hi fi bar (HEB) at home/on my way to work then fruit when I arrive in the office/ throughout the morning. This morning though, I didn't have my fruit and so I have sat here starving. I am thinking I need to put a bit more effort into breakfast and would welcome ideas. :j

Will willingly share ideas but they may not suit you as I don't have to rush out in the mornings. When I started SW, I substituted my juice for a large glass of NAS squash (currently Ribena) and I always have tea. I buy in ingredients for these breakfasts and we have them on rotation in whatever order we fancy:
    • boiled eggs, toast
    • porage with banana
    • Puffed Wheat with banana
    • tomatoes, mushrooms, toast, egg (sometimes bacon, beans too)
    • baked beans, toast
    • bacon/ham sandwich
    • hard boiled eggs, ham, toast
Some need supplementing with some fruit as a snack later, others are EE meals in themselves.

Hi all, hope its not too cold where you are!

A quick question about the Oats so Simple golden syrup flavour....I think I read somewhere that this can be counted as a HEB plus 1.5 Syns - can anyone clarify this please??? I have a load here that I want to eat up a) because its getting colder now, and b) because I am having my kitchen done soon and want to get rid of any stuff hanging around :D

WI tomorrow for me, I really really want my 1 stone award, was away from class last week so had 2 weeks to lose 3.5lbs, fingers crossed.

Anyway, have a great day all, I will post my result tomorrow xx

PS Flat Eric - the Oats so Simple thing may help you with your brekkie choices x

    Morning all

After yesterdays accidental 19 syns I did a 6 mile run and had free tuna pasta for dinner, hopefully that limited the damage!

    Today is EE:

B: Oats so simple golden syrup (HEb + 1.5syn) milk (HEa)
L: tuna pasta cucumber tomatoes mayo (1syn)
D: hunters chicken (HEa for cheese, 3 syns for BBQ sauce) with jacket potato and veggies
S: nectarine, apple, strawberries, FF yog

So looks like 5 syns planned, will probably have a packet of french fries too (another 4).

cherry, I don't eat it myself but remembered seeing this post. I think dizzy has it too but she'll be AWOL until the weekend. Seems like you'll be ok to eat it up.
