Hi WeBeBroke - I just signed up to do it online too, maybe we can share tips! I'm finding the site pretty cumbersome to be honest; seems like it could do with some simple links on the home page and some streamlining. Like you I do do exercise, and lik eyou, it's the weeks when I don't do it that start to make the weight slip. I want to lose about 16 lb.

Did it cost you£79? They were doing first month free a couple of days ago. Have they stopped that now?

Dizzy if you haven't been on MrsM's diary recently DO SO NOW!!!!!!! You'll see why :D

Firstly thank you all so much for your comments, it was a very sad day which made a very difficult week for me so your comments really helped me :grouphug:

Secondly welcome all the newbies :hello: this is a great place where everybody is very supportive and helpful.

Anyway, WI and as expected after a rubbish week 1.2lb gain. Deserved to be more really as haven't been on top form at all.

Off for a walk to my Mum's in a bit, hopefully the exercise will clear my head as its still full of sad stuff. Have a good weekend all.

    Helllllooooo Everyone

Well I've just about caught up with things now I'm back, and I'm currently sat at the laptop wrapped up in my Jamas & dressing gown feeling all grotty  Had my flu jab last week & I've been feeling more & more rotten as the week has gone on :(

Anyway Today is a day of eating whatever SW soup MR Dizzy puts in front of me (he can't go wrong with Dyno Rod I reckon:p) but to be fair I'm just not hungry at all today.......sooooooo we shall see what happens.

Be good everyone - Stay close to the tank!! ;)

The SW website is RUBBISH, almost impossible to navigate, it used to be much easier before they improved it :rotfl: I think you also get a proper pack when you join online don't you? It is a little easier using the book, but tbh the list of syns is almost as bad as online as they have titles like "kitchen staples" - well frankly, they aren't MY kitchen staples! hey ho, see what you think! The actual SW scheme does work, but their books and website do not :D anyway good luck I hope you enjoy your SW journey

Alm: what a lovely inspiring post from you. Good luck

Dizzles I am so glad you are back but sad you are ill, bloomin' flu jab I'm not planning to have one though I am just about at the age when they say you should. I put my back out today, I'd just begun mopping the floor. housework eh? that'll larn me. Anyway, couldn't travel far to do Saturday shop so took some rescue remedy and headed for the Co-op. They have Alpen Lights 2 packs for £3 (or was it 2 packs for £2, blame the painkillers) anyway I got two packs and I think I'll have a couple now as a HEB treat :D
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Evening everyone. Having a bad day, feeling really crappy and emotional for some reason. So far staying away from the junk thought :(

Had a meal out last night but I chose the healthiest options and was the only one to not have dessert. Which was possibly the first time in my life lol

Is it possible to rejoin slimming world as a "new member" even though I am currently a target member but way out of target ? Its just I want a completely fresh start..... and thought starting all over again might be the way forward ?

Hi, I thought of doing this but not sure what to do. I think if you haven't been (or stop going) for 2 or 3 weeks then it's cheaper to rejoin and if you rejoin then you could set a target a bit higher than your original one (if you see what I mean) then (hopefully) you would be at target earlier. Reading this back sounds like a load of rubbish but hopefully someone will be along soon who will have the answer and be able to tell us without the gobble de goop !!!!!

I know no one will believe me but I haven't been drinking. xx
