dreading weigh in tonight - have RAGING PMT and feel horribly bloated.
And some idiot punched DS in a York nightclub on Saturday - 7 hours in casualty, 5 stitches, 1 enormous black eye, a suspected fracture of the eye socket - they are writing to give details of his scan appt, and he has been told not to blow his nose for a month or he could go blind in that eye!
Here's hoping next week is a better week...:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
Welcome nicolax and good luck for your first week! Yes, harvester's are great for SW'ers. Have a nice meal!:)
As for your meals at home, would it be possible to offer to batch cook for yourself at weekends and then freeze them so you can sort your own meals out? Watching your diet whilst having food cooked for you by someone else can be very difficult. Good luck though!

Not had too bad a day today, about to have some chicken and potato curry (warmed from yesterday so extra yum), which I'm looking forward to. I had something I would never normally have for lunch (because I don't like fruit and veg
), I bought a big fruit salad with pineapple, kiwi, mango and melon, put half in a bowl and poured vanilla Onken on top. I polished it off, but I was gagging, I have to be honest
. One of the solicitors I work with told me that he always has salad for lunch and now he says he's never hungry lunchtime because he hates eating the salad so doesn't have a lunch to look forward too. He reckoned if he was going to the chippy instead he'd be famished in anticipation! Bit of an odd philosophy but I'll see if it works for me!
One of the girls in work saw me struggling and said if I was forcing myself to eat the fruit then I should force myself to drink green tea too, and gave me a teabag to try. She said if you drink it after meals it's alleged to speed up your metabolism. So I'm going to give it a go after my curry. In for a penny and all that!!

Thanks. I'm sure it's disgusting anyway, but what's probably not helped is that instead of using my friend's teabag I bought some when I was out, green tea with lemon. So it was really sour as well as being disgusting! I did fancy the green tea with honey which I thought may be slightly preferable (being a tea with two sugars girl normally, which is why I'm off it now) but I was worried that there may be syn value if it's got honey in it and it's not on the syns website.
Still, at least it's not plain water, which is the only thing I've drunk over the last month and I'm sick of it.

Why not have squash? The no added sugar ones are free. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
