went ot my first slimming world class last night - really enjoyed it :D
a friend is switching her class, so ill have someone ot go with next week
sometimes find it hard as i live at home with the parents so im not always responsible for food shopping/cooking so is sometimes hardto make the right choices - even if i try to tell them what i want! theres always rubbish food in the house so gets tempting but im hoping slimming world can helop with this

was having a look on the memebers bit of the website and found a nice article on the harvester and what to eat there ... perfect timing as im off there tonight!!

hoping for a really good week n to loose weight for the last time :D
I'm so glad you enjoyed your class, so many people say they don't enjoy it! I love/d mine, even though I'm having 2 weeks hol then returning to a different one. Previously was at one I didn't enjoy and didn't stick to it, so I think it makes a difference.

Thanks. I'm sure it's disgusting anyway, but what's probably not helped is that instead of using my friend's teabag I bought some when I was out, green tea with lemon. So it was really sour as well as being disgusting! I did fancy the green tea with honey which I thought may be slightly preferable (being a tea with two sugars girl normally, which is why I'm off it now) but I was worried that there may be syn value if it's got honey in it and it's not on the syns website.

Still, at least it's not plain water, which is the only thing I've drunk over the last month and I'm sick of it.

I was going to suggest sugar-free squash but Guns beat me to it!

TIE, still thinking of you and yours. But - if you need the loo in the night try to get there with eyes barely open and DO NOT LOOK AT THE CLOCK, you'll never go back to sleep. Tittering at the slippery sheets to be honest! In the depths of winter I sleep between two of those cheap blankets, washable and almost dry when you take them out. It's divine. You don't need an electric blanket if you sleep between blankets (with a duvet or two on top :rotfl:)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!
  • Morning all,

I lost 2lbs last night at WI, which is a lot for me! I wonder if setting that interim target has helped psychologically? Only 4lbs to go to get to it and if I get within 3lbs of it then I don't pay - MSE or what?!

Does anyone know what happened to Mrs M? I miss her.

    Well done. Fantastic.

Piglet, do you post your daily menus? Cos I want to eat what you eat only a day later. :)

    i dont, but i could start, i must warn you....the dinner i have...is shocking!! big...lots...but all free!!:D

i tend to eat free all day at work, fruits, yoghurts, my HEX cereal bars,

and then when i get home at 5pm, i have a MASSIVE dinner, usually all free except gravy, sauce etc

like last nite, i had what i call my "slimming world fry"

it is (i know...a lot...but its all free!!) 4 slimming world syn free sausages, 4 slices of bacon, 2 chops, 2 eggs, 2 slimming world syn free burgers, beans and eggs :eek::eek:

so i have a dollop of HP on that, that was the only syn i had yesterday,

i had my "special fry" twice last week, and lost 3.5lbs on monday, and twice the week before, and had 2lbs off,

i dont understand how all this food is "free", but i trust that it is, so i eat it :D

on a sat again i eat free all day, but i do without my HEX and then have chinese takeaway for tea, thats my weekly treat, and i aint giving it up!:D
  • Piglet are you still taking Xenical? Is it worth trying?

i am yes, i do find that it really does keep me on the straight and narrow,

i find it is working very well for me using Slimming World as well, they seem to be working hand in hand for me,

i think they are worth a bash, like i said i do have my takeaway on sat nite, i have chicken curry, but i tend to "drain" all the sauce off (onto my hubbys plate!!) and then scoop my chicken out,

i have yet to feel the full wrath of Xen, or any of the horror stories i have read, (havent been tangoed yet!!:D)

i think i have 3 / 4 weeks supply left, then i go back to my GP to get weighed and my next batch.

i know some folk say u dont really need them when you are following Slimming world / WW / other plans, but i do think they are working for me, HTH ;)
  • WI for me today - 2lb off :T just another 2lb for my first stone. I wont set a target as my weight loss depends a lot on my body which is doing very strange things at the moment - can I be starting 'the change' at 39??? Who knows, but Im all over the place at the mo!

What is Xenicol please?? Hope I spelt it right...Does the doc prescribe, and if so, what BMI/weight do you have to be to get it, and what side effects does it have? (Apart from turning you orange as Piglet mentioned it might!!!:rotfl:)

Have a good day all :)
  • put on 1.5lbs this week - but raving PMT accounts for that! Plus the fact that I feel a bit off - might be coming down with what DD2 has! Don't want to be off work - we have an MSA off with shingles, and one who is at her parents cos her dad has just had major cancer surgery....

Here's hoping an early night sorts it....
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
