I always find peppermint tea gives me rampant heartburn. Which is rather odd as it's supposed to stop heartburn/indigestion I think!
Senora, are there any other SW groups with a different consultant near you? Afaik because you have the credit card thing now, you can go to whatever group you like to weigh in. I have to say though, I instantly liked all the people in the group I went to, so I was really lucky.
JxAnd it looks like we made it once again
Yes it looks like we made it to the end0 -

I remember my very 1st night at club vividly, I sat there thinking OMG what the f**k had I let myself in for. The they started all the happy clapping and I nearly walked out :rotfl: BUT I persevered and got to target. It is worth the initial cringing so stick with a few weeks and see how it goes.

Hi Rachel, perhaps you could have 2 A choices too? Or, extra syns? Or one of our target members maintains by eating the SW way 4 days a week and however she fancies the other 3 days. Having said that I think we all agree that once you are in the zone "however you fancy" tends not to be fish & chips for 3 nights but rather a healthy meal with some added yummy syns, or a supersweet pudding or something. Anyway, give yourself some extra treats otherwise the wind will blow you off the target sofa :rotfl::jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j
thank you Slimming World!

Yes I think a lot of first nights are like that ... perhaps stay for another week or so. When you find someone you can talk freely to you'll find most people find it a bit cringeworthy but it is useful to stay and I confess sometimes I am so happy that someone who has struggled finally manages to lose a few pounds that I cheer, honestly you can get quite tied up in other peoples' eating/slimming lives - a bit like on here really.
Thanks for that, glad it wasn't just me
No Janepig, unfortunately that one is the only one that I can get to without an half hour drive.
Pleased with yesterday although it ended with a humungous headache - how soon does sugar withdrawal kick in? :rotfl: Ended on 7.5 syns with my rice krispie squares and sugar free jelly
Today will be :
Breakfast - apple, satsuma and toffee muller light (10 for £3 at Tesco atm)
Lunch - tuna salad with a boiled egg perhaps (day off so have extra time to make things!)
Dinner - well hubby's having belly pork and I don't think that's a lean cut of meat somehow... Not sure what I'll have instead yet.
Heb - fibre plus bar and maybe some babybel for my hea with my lunch. Rice krispie square for sys again, I have an addiction!
I found an interesting substitution for a white sauce last night, so I might try and make a lasagna for tomorrow"Empires are not brought down by outside forces, they are destroyed by weaknesses from within."0 -
Afternoon losers:D I'm being stubborn and mule like and not adding last weeks gain onto my sig as i had no choice other than eat what was in my freezer or not eat at all - though option B would probably have been better for my losses! But i weighed myself this morning, and its not weigh in day but i'm back to where i was so i think it was all water weight.
Today: A for milk(a)
Coffee(a)
2 Weetabix(B), yoghurt(0.5), nana, tea(a)
Apple, clementine - was planning to have 2 but one tasted horrible!
Homemade lentil soup
Coffee(a), fibre plus (B)
Oaty bar(3.5)
Stirfry with noodles - 3 syns for sauce
Strawberries, meringue(5), tea(a)
Was meant to have chicken in my stirfry but really didnt want it, had 2 tiny little bits and put the rest back in the pan! Sometimes i just dont want meat.
Have another A to use somewhere
1A+2B and 12 syns used. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Oi
Keep the bloody noise down will ya, no need to shout....I'm not deaf you know :rotfl::rotfl::D
(oh you don't know how good that feels to say)
OMG words cannot describe how I'm feeling with my new cochlear gadgetIts like being given back a piece of 'me' that was stolen.
I'm just in awe of everying at the moment (even if its a little too much sometimes & I'm having to switch off for a little while & go back to silence as it gets a bit overwhelming and confusing)
My favourite thing was getting up extra early this morning and sitting at BILs on the back step in the garden listening to the birdsthe most beatiful sounds in the warm early morning sunrise......then getting scared half to death by the extra loud bark of a 4 stone staffie behind me saying good morning :rotfl:
AND I GET TO LISTEN TO THE RUBBISHY X FACTOR TOO THIS WEEKEND FOR THE 1ST TIME EVER
Hope everyone is Ok, good to see you back Pollysg;)
I did a big naughty last night & didn't go to WI.......we went for a drive out after my magic ear fitting and had a meal at a lovely pub beer grden near Bolton Abbey (where I sat & LISTENED to the ducks making a right racket
) and celebrated with and even naughtier large glass of red wine (then another:p)......Dizzy was very dizzy :rotfl:
