Fantastic news Dizzy am really pleased for you. Slightly envious too as there are times I wish I could switch my hearing off for a while especially when the testosterone is flying in my house :rotfl:

    Hi

I haven't posted on this thread. I found it as I joined SW last Monday. Have a heavy weekend this weekend so it might not have been the best week to join!!

Just wanted to say that Dizzyk, your posts have choked me up this week. The sheer joy that has come from every post since your operation has been a joy for me to read. They have made me realise that I take too many things for granted. Thank you xxxxxxx

Welcome mel, I totally agree with your comments. Dizzy's posts are infectious with happiness!!!:A

Now I'm back home I'm determined to be strict with myself. I'm going to parboil some chips in a minute to cook later and see if Thursday's were just a fluke.

B: NAS squash, scrambled egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, HEB toast, HEA milk with teas
L: ham&tomato sandwich, clementine and apple
    D: SW curry, rice, chips

Except for some pork and spices my curry is packed full of veg (passata, onions, mushrooms, peppers, diced carrot, chilli) so that should do me some good.

Anyone else been finding it hard to find WW Brown Danish lately? Asda seems to be out of it more often than not.

Great news Dizzy :) I was lurking on the thread for a loooooooong time :rotfl: it's obviously a huge change for you :)

I'm worried about eating too much fruit. Am I being stupid? I know it's good sugar, but there's still sugar. I'm having at least two apples, a satsuma, a nectarine per day if not more. Some meals it seems very hard to get superfree into everymeal and it's easier to eat a piece of fruit after.

I avoided the belly pork last night and had a steak instead, trimmed all the fat off :)

    Today

    Breakfast - nectarine, apple, mullerlight
Lunch - pea soup, trimmed bacon, apple
Dinner - lasagna with sw topping and salad
Fibre plus for heb, bit of cheese on lasagna and maybe a babybel or hot choc later for hea (2 syns)
    rice krispie square (7)

So either 9 or 7 syns today

  • oh well done, Senora, on avoiding the belly pork. I have one rule in my SW life and that is, if I go out to eat and there's belly pork on the menu, SW goes through the window. Fortunately I don't often go out to eat these days.

I've just realised that I (and any others of us who are tone deaf - naming no names, but you know who you are) shall have to stop singing as the tank wends its way now, Dizzy will hear me and lose concentration
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

    thank you Slimming World!

Thanks Blackberry :) I really wanted it, but couldn't bring myself to be so bad in my first week :rotfl:

Struggling with sugar cravings and a banging headache (probably sugar withdrawal!) today. Just had an Options and hea milk, hope that helps.
