Hi can anyone tell me how to find the I want bit on Ebay,
I'm new to Ebay and did my first test sale last week. Thought I had done very well as I got £4.70 for a book plus £1.50 postage ( U.K) Anyway got to the post office bought a plasic envelope to send in all it cost £4.80 to post, with the money to ebay I have made a loss. The book was hardback and I asked to post it the cheapest way.
I have loads of old clothes, mine and the kids and baby stuff. Any advice on how to be a bit more succesfull next time would be great.
I am determined to have sort out my finances and have a clutter free house.

Here you go http://pages.ebay.co.uk/wantitnow/
use the Site Map to find stuff on ebay, it has everything listed there."I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0 -

I use my kitchen scales to weigh things, then work out the postage costs on the Royal Mail website0

My DH bought be some digital scales for ebay! They are regular food digital scales but if you are going to be selling any volume of stuff they might be worth the investment, have a look on ebay

I agree the Royal Mail site is really good. I tend to weigh the item plus wrapping and work it up to the next bracket say it weighs 267g I look for the 300g price. It is better to have a bit in reserve and to underestimate.
However if your postage is too high nobody will bid on your item to take a look at what similar things p&p and that will give you a good idea.
I tend to start all of mine at 99p unless it is something I really don't want to go very cheaply and that way you can get away with a bit more on the postage.
Good luck - go for it is all I can say.Save £12k in 25 No 49
