This is brilliant! How to reduce what goes to landfill in one easy thread!

Am currently looking round the house for free cds or DVDs I could sell! But it did inspire to do the 5p listings for CDs and DVDs. I just wish Ebay could use the barcodes on books, that would save me a lot of time, although it was a while ago since I tried, so they might have that facility now!

Hi, Does anybody have a particular day, when they think they sell more on ebay then anyother day?. IE: Do you list to finish on a Sunday because it's a weekend & you seem to get more bids, or do you find that say a Tuesday is better? or does it not matter?

I am suprised that those 'free' cd's/dvd's that come with the papers can do so well. Well, by so well I mean a couple of the titles are making a couple of quid but hey its something for nothing.

I have listed mine as lots but a couple of them I have listed seperatley. The Slipper and the Rose is no longer available so the free copies are selling currently for £2 to £3. I'd be happy with that.

Was actually selling the vases - had 6, one off each table at my wedding reception, cost £1 each from Ikea, and they had scented rose petals inside, which had ovbiously lost their smell.
Sold the vases for £5, so almost got my money back, but someone asked to buy the rose petals too!!! Flogged them for a further £3!

I saw free samples of Comfort Air Fresheners selling for £20 for 10 a few weeks back. I couldn't believe that a freebie would be selling for so much!
I tried to get some of the freebies, but the offer had ended! Ya boo sucks! Late as ever!
