before throwing anything away i always look on Ebay to see if someones listed a similar item and if theres a demand for it .
Also ive found that if you have a stall at a council run car boot that attracts a lot of people you can sell just about anything . I sold an old carpet i found in my loft when i moved , i was going to throw it away .Just shows you that theres a potential for money to be made in your junk0 -
Ive just had a chat with my cousin ref this thread, and he's recently sold a 50p coin (the one with a pic of a dolphin on the reverse) to a guy in America for £2

Just to say I was told by the fitter installing my new shower room to put the champagne coloured 12 year old sink and toilet in the local paper (free add if under £50) instead of the skip and was surprised to find somebody wanted them! On the same tack I saw someone selling a 2nd hand loo seat at a car boot sale on Sunday, yuk.0

If you ever saw a lady buying a used loo seat from a boot sale, it was probably my mum. Due to the nature of my parents' business, they always had to buy replacement loo seats. They always made me carry them though!!!Overpay!0 -
