Halloween Queen - we've put up all sorts of things. DH is a camping/outdoors gear freak and has a shop full of stuff in the loft that he hasn't used so a lot of that has gone up for sale - sleeping bag, walking boots, jackets as well as OU course books, old jigsaw puzzles, a watch, mobile phone battery. It really has been a selection!!
raq - you are probably sitting on a goldmine - get thee to eBay right now!!!!Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0 -

Well this is the first time I have tried to sell any. The ones I am selling are old fashioned - wooden jigsaws probably from the 1960-70's. To be honest they aren't selling very well, one has a 99p bid and the other no bids at all though both have a lot of watchers.Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0

I'd been at a jumble sale and towards the end, heard the magic words "Fill a bag for £1", so I took a bag, put the clothes I wanted for myself and my family in it, and still had plenty of room in the bag so looked around for anything I thought might sell on eBay. When I spotted 2 pairs of vintage undies (used but thankfully clean!) I decided to put them in my bag and try listing them on eBay for fun, to see if anyone would actually buy them. To my surprise, they sold for £10.50.

i will be hunting down some this week.0 -
Think I might go to a car boot sale to sell some of my old junk, especially as I have not got the income to pay for postage costs initially for eBay and Amazon.
I have got all my old Raggy Dolls which I could sell, they just need cleaning up a little bit. Also got loads of old videos I could sell on - does anyone know if these make much money?0 -
Well our auctions have now all finished and we made a staggering £483.49!!! 2 items did not sell - a pair of DD's boots and a jigsaw puzzle, the other jigsaw only sold for 99p. In total we sold 12 items so together with our Amazon sales of £70.93 we have made £554.42 this week towards our NY spending money, can't believe it. Now get searching around your homes, DFW'ers there's money to be made!!!Debtfree JUNE 2008 - Thank you MSE:T0

We've just sold 400 videos for £100 - not bad to say they were on their way to the tip otherwise! But they're not worth much, unless as Contains Mild Peril says, you have something that's rare or sought after. We have an old Amiga CDTV to sell next - they seem to sell quite well so fingers crossed we will get around £50 for it!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

I found 17 newspaper promotional dvds (cheesy films etc) stashed in a drawer. The current highest bid is a £1! Better than putting them in the bin!0

I put one of the daily mail health dvds on at got a £1 for it, that woould have been binned!0
