Yes thanks oh well I rarely have success getting deals going fast, I stayed up most nights to gone 2am in the hope I could find oneI know... same boat as you. Not great but eventually you'll land one... I am curious as to what will happen in a month or so... there will be lots of tablets and the run up to Christmas soon approaching...
Bear in mind, you should research XDA developers for tablets... you can get some that are not so great (cost peanuts) but by running android on them or modifying them you can end up with a fantastic piece of kit... Am keeping my eyes and ears open.
I hope in the meantime though you do get one. If I see anything I shall let you know as your story is similar to mine... and of course lots of other peoples0 -

Interestingly, the HP website has now changed from 374 to 89 again.

And comet have the HP advertising back up... I think it was taken down before. http://www.comet.co.uk/static/sitepages/hp_touchpad/hp_touchpad0 -
I've just realised something... HP were making a tablet that was 3G as well as WiFi and this was due out in September... I just wonder if with all of this cafuffle, hype, brand awarenes that's now out there and demand, if these tablets will be released (assuming they actually made them)... just an idea that passed through my mind. And also, expect to see some of the 64Gig versions popping up... where I don't know.
They've generated a hugh amount of demand so getting rid of them wouldn't be so much of a problem... But this is speculation.
With regards to the 64Gb unit, Tesco has it listed as being available from September, it wasn't listed at all until Wednesday afternoon, along with the reference to the 4G unit on the HP page... I do beleive that we may well see something worthy of effort on our part next month which will be great as is my birthday, and as I was unsuccessful in getting one for my wife as our 17th Anniversary was the 20th mayhap I will get us a combo gift, she can use it as long as it never leaves my sight! :rotfl:
And Hi from me to all, a long-time lurker making a virgin post0 -
My friend says they've ripped off the Ipad case! It's a great case that flips open and then you can tuck the flap behind so it stands up.
I had a whole diatribe ready to go, but no... that's the same as saying X manufacturer ripped off their design from Y manufacturer as the object/item is similar to what X makes...shiz, enough with Apple, so many worms in that fruit...0 -

Something odd going off.... I checked the above HP page earlier and it was the cheaper prices but, I went to the following page:

And this one is the final confirmation...

There are no more available in the UK. From this site I suspect...0 -

I was only trying to describe what it looked like! No criticism of any company intended!0 -
Ah, meant to mention if it hasn't been already, along with damien on Ebay, Prepaymania has loads listed available on Ebay at the same price they had them listed on their site prior to the reduction.
Their email to me was very similar to Play's, ie they had no control over the price due to the pricing from their supplier
I would not deal with them at all, if nothing else I would rather enjoy seeing them try to move that stock when the craze has passed, I wouldn't even pay £200 for the 16Gb from Ebay let alone £407 but hey they offer free shipping...0 -
