I ordered my HP TP from CPW on Monday evening. On Tuesday CPW told me they had no record of my order number and so after a whole day online, I gave up trying to get one.

Last night I got a call from my bank querying what they thought was a 'fraudalent transaction' for £115. They then sounded puzzled when I said I was disappointed they had declined CPW's request for the money. I can only guess that the news hadnt reached India yet

Anyway, just rang CPW to ask why they were taking money from my account if there was no order and then they 'found' my order and it will be with me tomorrow!.:j......and the status has been updated on their order tracking page

.....I just pray they wont send it with Home Delivery Network

I thought I had been clever buying mine through topcashback for £15 cashback, but the site has been updated to say they wont be giving any cashback for this......cant get greedy i suppose!....i'm just glad I used my egg money card so will get a couple of quid back that way
  • With Tesco giving into the pressure, surely play.com are going to have to do the same?!
  • Have receieved my refund confirmation email - will be back in my account within 3-5 working days

    Gonna crack it open.

Shame that staples went and cancelled the case on me.

Thanks to all that supported the Tesco 'Campaign'.

For anyone sitting on touchpads purchased in the last week or so at full price from amazon.

I emailed them a couple of days ago asking whether they intended to refund the difference between their selling price and the new market value (£115) or if I should send back the units I have, they asked for a couple of days to think about it - those couple of days expired today and I emailed them for a decision.

They have been in contact this afternoon stating that they will be in a position to respond after August 30th as they are expecting to receive some information that day which will allow them to decide on a policy.

MY guess is that they are negotiating some sort of date after which partial refunds will be available (ie pads purchased after day xx) - they'll want to set a precedent in line with their purchase price from HP and the backdating of this may be subject to negotiation between those parties.

btw I am not buying to resell on ebay, these are for family/friends - I'm just the family bargain hunter.

Also, I had 3 cases arrive today from CPW

Also, PCW are now selling wireless keyboard for hald price and there was one in KIngston this morning, there are also touchstones at half price at Comet in Twickenham.
