Really Misco? That's terrible. I guess it would be easier for a company to get hold of large stocks rather than an individual. There's unprecedented demand for it, guess that will make some take advantage & make a fast buck.

Wonder if HP are kicking themselves now. They could have charged a higher rate so at least they broke even. Wonder if someone at the top is in trouble. The whole abandonment was very quick.

Either way making money like that I think is morally wrong, then again your right it is supply and demand, I wouldnt buy from this person out of principle but plenty will!! x

Plenty have bought from ebay from many different sellers. I think it's wrong & wouldn't buy but plenty of people do. I want one for the bargin price that's the reason I want one. I can't afford to buy an ipad or one full price.

No news yet on anymore coming our way. Hope we are not wasting our time waiting

  • Massive news on the FB thread.

Tesco are honouring the refund for all customers who purchased on or after 1st of July and will contact re refund by email

    RESULT!!!
  • It is funny (not) I could have reserved the pad from Argos at 10pm Monday night, I didnt! Then found they had removed them from sale till the morning when they said you could not reserve them and had to go to the store. So 8.15 I was standing on my own outside waiting for them to open. They had two in stock.... (I was getting greedy but decided to play in the spirit and just ask for the one) but both reserved.

Went to another Argos, told all were reserved but I could get it via home delivery... there were two in stock... again not being greedy, asked for just the one.... but the computer said no

Now found two (a little more than I wanted to pay.... just waiting for them to email me back)

As for Tesco.... are they trying to treat us like they treat the farmers... I might just give up and go get the IPad 64 3g.... Its funny how PC World have increased the price by £10... also funny I didnt really want a tablet till Monday evening!

I thought I saw the Ipad 1 64Gb 3G for 399 on the PC World site.

It's good news re Tesco consumers but, it can be looked the other way round... you are expecting something cheap by being dishonest and when they don't play ball, and let's not forget, they did nothing wrong, folk get angry. Which I can appreciate... Am glad they saw sense.

For the record, I am still trying to nab one of these touchpads but feeling optimistic about it all... if I don't get one now, I will do in a month, and possibly around the £100 mark.
