Mine was delivered today. First impressions are it's no way near as good as my ipad2 but well worth £89.0

Tesco's lack of action on dropping their prices has really surprised me. Kind of bewildering actually!0

I think i'll give up the hunt for now & wait for eBay & Amazon sellers to realise that people aren't going to pay the outrageous amounts for this product.
One seller had a 16gb on amazon for £200 an hour ago - not bad, but I feel they will get cheaper once the fuss dies down.
The going rate for the 32mb version (from eBay completed sales) looks to be around £260.0 -
That's Amazon.com cancelling orders now as well as Amazon.co.uk - very shoddy indeed. We're writing to inform you that your order 105... from onSale has been canceled because the item(s) you purchased were out of stock. Please return and place your order again at a later time.
So why let me "purchase" an out of stock item? Bunch of incompetents.
They've really gone down in my estimation - they won't be one of my preferred online retailers any more.
These idiots have really screwed it up for me - I ordered a TouchPad from the UK shop and one from the US shop - both orders confirmed - both orders cancelled.
If they had told me earlier I could have ordered TouchPads from other retailers while they were still in stock.
Thanks for nothing Amazon.0 -

I've got mine sat in front of me and I want to play with it SOOO much!
Can't until I know for sure if I can get the refund somehow!
Mine is waiting to be picked up at Tesco, really tempted to go collect it! Surely they must realise they they're just going to get lots of returns at the end of the 14/28 days?
I just don't understand their strategy. Are they waiting on an announcement from HP about refunds? I don't see why they would be - I don't think (tho happy to be told I'm wrong) that Dixons Group/all others are taking the hit themselves - won't they be getting refund on their stock from HP?Not only Tesco but a few other large retailers haven't dropped prices.
Ah I didn't realise. I read Play sent all their stock back. Who else have I missed?0 -

At the very least I'm sure you could return to get a refund
Anybody buying from Play is taking a huge gamble anyway. They operate a 30 day return policy, after which you're completely on your own with any faults, having to deal direct with the manufacturer.
UK Sale of Goods Acts don't apply because they're Jersey based.
Deal with Play very much at your own risk.0 -
