Hi, I am about t collect a HP touchpad from TESCO which I ordered at full price on Monday, after trawling every shop in Suthampton that stocked these. Please can anyone tell me if TESCO have reduced their pricing yet and if not, if you can hold onto an unopened product for a couple of weeks just in case and make a reurn if they don't reduce price? Also where can you get the HP Pre 3 Smartphone online please - or hae I missed that boat too???

Guess you'll have to check with Tesco itself. Nothing has been said about it anywhere. Maybe it will be like Argos & they will just reduce price with no warning for all that had secured them.

It's a gamble that people have reported to have worked buying at full price.

Argos have said those who bought at full price for home delivery will be getting the price difference. Not sure about those in store as yet. Some people say they took it back & got price difference, others saying they didn't. Nothing definite from Argos on that as far as I'm aware. I know if people bought a couple of weeks ago are not getting a price difference. Thankfully that's not me, I'd be crying now.

Best to ask Tesco themselves. If they've decided what they are doing yet.

Know there's a few worried people who bought full price from play.com too.

At the very least I'm sure you could return to get a refund

I'd like an Argos code (Northwest) if it's spare.

One around London would also be OK.

I think i'll give up the hunt for now & wait for eBay & Amazon sellers to realise that people aren't going to pay the outrageous amounts for this product.

One seller had a 16gb on amazon for £200 an hour ago - not bad, but I feel they will get cheaper once the fuss dies down.

Thanks to the people answering the techy questions even though i know this isn't really the place (must get round to exploring other parts of MSE & even other forums in general for stuff like this) - I personally really do appreciate it and I'm sure other airheads like me do too

    lol have we met? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The prices will come down once the hype has died down... I am hoping to pick one up but only so I can put Android on it...

I think patience is needed, HP may release more stock, into certain channels.

    These will NOT be:

    Argos
    Amazon

Who have stated they will not get more stock.

I realise Amazon won't be getting more stock - but other people sell via Amazon - these are worth keeping an eye on.

There won't be any left to be priced !

Though retailers are getting more stock it will go to fulfil online orders.
