Hi, I am about t collect a HP touchpad from TESCO which I ordered at full price on Monday, after trawling every shop in Suthampton that stocked these. Please can anyone tell me if TESCO have reduced their pricing yet and if not, if you can hold onto an unopened product for a couple of weeks just in case and make a reurn if they don't reduce price? Also where can you get the HP Pre 3 Smartphone online please - or hae I missed that boat too???

Smart Pre is selling NOW on cleverboxes (google it) but it's not at the rock bottom price. Anyway HTH!

That's not rock bottom... it will become cheaper. There is a thread regarding the HP Pre 3... and I have put some info there:

After the HP Touchpad... now the HP Pre 3 Smartphone. £49 down from £400! Sim Free!

hopefully these will go for around 50 quid...

Hey all,

Like some others I have ordered and (just now) collected my HP Touchpads from Tesco.

I've paid full price and am now waiting for either:

a) Tesco to drop the price (despite being out of stock)

b) HP to offer refund for those that paid full price

... within the 28 day return period.

If neither a) nor b) come to fruition I shall be returning them and getting my money back.

The manager of the Direct section in my local Tesco Extra has been a diamond and is saying he will call me if he sees a drop in price to tell me to come back in! He understood what I am trying to achieve and basically said if I come across any problems to come and talk to him but he is on my side!

ive been trying to get my old mum on the internet so she can comunicate
with her big sister down-under, but could never afford one of these tablets.
then when i heard of this deal i couldnt sleep that night with exitement.
rushed down to my local carphone warehouse before it opened and only one person ahead of me stood outside in the rain.

saveings in my pocket i had high hopes.
a queue formed behind me and the doors opened.

turns out they only had two in stock the the greedy dude in front took both

from then to now ive been hunting online and trying in every shop i can think off with no joy.

if ANYONE still has a reservation code, you could make me (and my mom) the happest people in london.

even if its just outside london, its worth the trip to see the look on her face lol

pm me if you can help, i know its extremely late, but i still have hope

Yep just got my Amazon email now, such a let down, they should not have miss led of many people....I did speak to the woman at Argos in Store in Liverpoool, about my reservation (which stated it would be ready to pick up from Friday the 26th) She told me to come in the afternoon (on Friday) when they get their stock, and I will be able to buy it at the £115 price tag....I have no idea where they are getting this stock from. (Might have something to do with me reserving it on Monday).....I hope it goes ok, or is this just wishful thinking?
