HP didn't give them to another retailer - they sold them internally to HP staff (I work for HP). 16GB was £60 and 32GB was £110 - all staff had an email this morning. They sold out within 15 mins. Today is my day off. Fail :-(

Lol you sound like i am trying to sell you one.I`m saying the tablet is coming and suppliers have reported whats going inside.Maybe it won`t be free with a box of cornflakes but it will be a damn sight cheaper than whats on offer.

Well I dont blame the staff but my oh works at Sainsburys and she gets naff all other than staff discount and no xmas bonus. They use to get sometimes first dabs but like anything some people take the Mick

The Amazon tab is coming, it won't be this cheap, but it will have more of a future. That's what I'm telling myself at the moment :-)

The HP page that article suggests you keep an eye on appears to be aimed at a US audience so I'm not sure how relevant it'll be here.
