You'll fit in really well here then.
Out of all the threads on the OS board this is the one that you should chat on. It's like a daily diary of each of our days. So it quite often flows into general chit chat. Hope you stick around.

Good evening everyone,
Had a lovely day today doing not a lot!!!! Actually, bit of a fib, because i have done more than i was planning, but i think i had been sat down relaxing so much, that once i got up, i was full of beans!!!
Had a lovely roast at lunch time, the duck i froze in gravy was just as good as last week and i had mine with loads of veggies, including leeks fried with a spoonful of golden syrup (off another thread i saw yesterday!!) and they were lovely!!!
Have managed to list some more bits on ebay, so now i have quite a lot of things taking up room in my bedroom, but hopefully they will all be sold next week, if not, they will go to the charity shop - im really getting into the flylady challenge - have never really tried it before and hopefully it will work and i will keep on top of all the 'hot spots'. Cleaning i can do, its the piles of stuff i cant bare to part with that im in the process of sorting via flylady!!!
Right, the WM sounds like its finished, so going to sort that before having an early night. Children back to school tomorrow, i have already made their packed lunches (normally a mad rush in the morning!!) so hopefully wont b to stressful in the morning.
Hope everyone has a lovely evening,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Forgot to say - Happy anniversary Pooky, hope you all feel better soon x0 -
Had a trip to the seaside and a picnic in the car and really enjoyed the day.
We are all going to my Dad's memorial service tomorrow morning and I might put some soup in the slow cooker before we go.

Evening all - another day over. DS starts nursery tomorrow for first time, only going for 2 hours but still seems to be a big thing, not really left him with anyone before (apart from his granny) so not too sure how he'll get on. His sister will be there too but they'll be in different rooms.
Got a lot done today - washing, drying and ironing up to date:j - although by tomorrow another basket will be waiting! The house has had a general tidy through so all should be ready for nursery starting tomorrow and DH going back to work.
Went for a long walk with the kids and dog this aft, kids starting to get slightly better at not complaining about walking - determined to stop jumping in the car every time we go out the front door.
Heading to bed so that we can all be up bright and early tomorrow!!!Joined slimming world Feb 2010

Hi Everyone - just a 'sort of' quickie as it's back to college for me tomorrow. I've not been able to keep up with the daily recently - it's been so busy, which is a good thing of course, but you know me and my need to read EVERY post:rolleyes:
This evening I've just 'jumped in' at the end as I doubt very much if I'll make it onto the daily over the next few weeks (will probably read as much as possible, but not get time to finish all so I can post, lol)
hopefully when the weather starts to brighten again my tiredness will fade & early mornings will mean I can come back.
I did however scan the last few threads and read that Aussie lass had posted a piccie of her kitchen - and it is lovely (I don't believe she did anything but make the tea - but don't tell her I said that)
I also hear that Pooky has an anniversary so happy anniversary (or belated??)
Tru - don't forget when your business succeeds to tell 'them' how it was all down to them 'believing' in you
I'd also like to say helo to everyone who has joined over the past few months as I've been flitting in and out. The guys on here are a great bunch - but do be warned even if you only have a mild touch OS-itis you'll be a fully fledged member with a garden full of veggies by the end of Summer (Oh, and if you think you'll get away with it as you've no garden you are soooooo wrong - there was even a post showing you how to grow tomatoes from bottles hanging indoors last year :rotfl:
Well, I'm fast approaching my curfew so it's good night from me.....
Load of love and hugs,
