    Kitten pie-the keyring is lovely
Bz-I have a kindle and love it, its so easy and convenient, it isn't backlit, so no eye strain. The best bit for me is that it only takes 2 seconds to download a book, so no panicking and running out to Tesco at crazy times cos I don't have anything to read!

    Morning all,

CD1 for me today at long last. I'm not in the best of moods as I have terrible lower backache with it plus I think I'm coming down with the lurgy. I had a terrible night's sleep last night and woke with a blocked nose and sore throat. So not what I need this week as I have such a busy week you wouldn't believe. Hey ho. I'm out for a meal at TGI's tonight so hopefully I'll perk up in time for that. Might even treat myself to a cocktail......

KittenPie - a little note for your DH is a lovely idea

:( cd1 for me as horrid horrid af has shown dashing all my hopes :( will go to the doctors this month as have been trying for over 2 years now and our ages are against us. No hope in December as DH working away each week only returning at the weekend. I just want a baby :(

Hugs Primmer. I also worry about the age thing, although we've not been trying anywhere near as long as you yet. For years I thought I was putting off babies thinking that we had loads of time. Now all of sudden I wish we'd started trying much sooner :(. Good luck at the doctors.

Morning everyone. peak for me on CBFM today so I was obviously worried about nothing. With my positive opk yesterday I think that means I'll ovulate today but will see what temps do tomorrow.

On the kindle, I am a complete bookworm and love the feel of books. DH bought me a sony ebook reader for my birthday two years ago but although I downloaded a couple of books I didn't read them and didnt feel drawn to it. Then he got me an ipad for my birthday last year, and I downloaded the kindle app and the ibooks one comes free, and I love it. I hardly ever read a real book any more! I just love the whole convenience thing of being able to download just about any book I fancy within seconds and start reading, the fact that when I open it again after a break it automatically takes me to the last page I was reading without having to faff around using a bookmark and have it fall out, and the fact if I am travelling even just on the bus or tube and am near the end of my book, a new one is waiting there for me to start without having to carry two around with me. I also like the fact that I don't discover a chapter from the end of my thriller that one of the little ones has torn out a page or two (which used to happen a LOT, they are a mischievous pair) or the cleaner has put it back on the bookcase, and I have to wade through literally thousands of books to find it again (we have a lot of books and bookcases!) As for not being able to take it to charity shop or lend it, I am bad at getting round to that, hence why I have so many books and bookcases, but at least downloaded on my ipad it takes up no space at all in my house, so that's a winner for me too. And if I was going to share a book, it would often be with my DH, so he can just borrow the ipad when I'm not using it to read it (Ha! Like I'm likely to let that happen....)

I've had a quick read through but there's always too much going on that it falls out of my head as soon as it pops in! :o Lots of lovely Christmas talk going on though! :)

Hugs for everyone who has AF. I'm still waiting for mine to rear its ugly head, tested yesterday and got a BFN so just hoping that AF turns up soon so I can figure out what my cycle is playing at and start again!

My brother got married on Thursday and it was really lovely, I had half hoped that I'd be pregnant for the wedding but no such luck... so I had plenty of champagne! SIL is coming off the pill as soon as they get back from their honeymoon (in Jamaica! Lucky so-and-so's!) and they're TTC straight away, I feel odd about it as it'll be nice to have a TTC buddy but don't know how I'll feel if she gets PG before I do... or vice versa! :o

Oh and can I please guess 7 BFPs for December? :)

    Morning everyone :)

I'm suffering a bit today - it was our wedding anniversary yesterday and we did a bit too much  which was fun at the time but isn't helping my productivity at work!

I think I'm either coming up to or just have ov'd - I had a bit of EWCM this morning, but my temperature has also spiked and I was getting little pains yesterday and Saturday. I'm not sure though; I'm inclined to ignore the temp spike as I was drinking last night and woke up a lot earlier, dozed for about two hours and then took my temperature. Stupid sleep patterns.

BigZ, DH bought me a Kindle for Xmas last year and I love it, even though I thought I'd hate it. It's really easy to read on, it's just like a book, and if something comes out new, you can get it then and there instead of having to find a bookshop or wait for it to be delivered :)

Oh yeah, and it means less carrying of books - which I suspect is, in no small part, why DH bought me one - he got fed up of me secretly cramming extra books into our suitcase when he wasn't looking when we went on holiday :) (He does the heavy lifting in our household; I don't do carrying suitcases, particularly ones containing three hardback books...)
