Beautifully written. :') Lovely idea and great to see so much was raised.

Thank you, it was mainly OH who is much more eloquent than me. Were were also very surprised by the amount raised. I was expecting about £30 from those who were unable to send flowers, so the fact that we are now over the £1,500 mark is amazing.

I think OH is using at as a way of focusing on something.
    Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
    Competition wins 2015 = £1400

How about testing at 14DPO (Thursday)? Can you wait that long?:D

I may be able to because I am expecting to get spotting or AF tomorrow or Weds. So I would be pretty suprised if I hadnt by then.

When they were still born we put up a link to our just giving page:
    http://www.justgiving.com/Lincoln-and-Nathan-Boyd
(don't read if easily upset) this meant we had a place to share it with everyone without having to keep going over what had happened.

Such a lovely website, beautifully written, thank you for sharing this with us all xx
  • Well I've succeeded in confusing FF!

I have had neg opks for past few days but my temps were slowly on the rise. This morning, on entering my temp FF then showed me as having ovulated 3 days ago.
I've just done another OPK and its positive so FF has removed my crosshair!!

Hopefully will have a clearer idea of what's happening in a few days!
  • Hello ladies. Been MIA for about a week, been uber busy, and feel like I don't really have much to say at the moment! Have been lurking though.

Hugs to QQ.. don't have any advice to give out but hoping you and your OH are now on the same wavelength.

    Congrats on BFP DJ :T

Nothing to report here, still waiting on OV... had a bit of a drama with a piano brought off ebay for OH's bday. BIG MISTAKE. Delivery men caused massive scratches to my floor so now having a nightmare trying to sort it out!

Loving christmas build-up :) its nice to have plans to make the time pass quicker.

Just had a looksie at your chart and I can see why FF has been confused :rotfl: Your temps did seem to suggest ov a few days ago but that just might be because of the erratic temps you were getting in the early part of your cycle. I would say if you've got a positive OPK today keep BDing. It might just be that after a few days you will be able to see a clearer pattern.

Sitting at home tonight trying to avoid thinking about SS'ing. DH is working late, so I am at home trying not to imagine sore boobs etc, and wish that the days moved faster!

I've worked out that AF is probably due on the day we are having a Christmas party at our house. Or rather, if it hasn't arrived by then, I will be doing all I can to resist testing! I suppose really if OV was last Wednesday, then I should know by mid next week. Not sure if I want the time to go fast or slow... at least it's nice to hope for a while. :)
  • Hi everyone! Just popping in to stay I'm still here! It just takes me so long to catch up on everyone else's posts that I don't have time to post myself!
According to the phone app I use to track my cycle if I am lucky enough this month testing day will be Boxing Day, which is really Xmas Day for us as DH is working real Xmas Day... I am eagerly awaiting ov :)
  • Hi Everyone :)

Hope you're all well tonight :) Congrats on the BFP DJ :j

Not much going on here....been having some strange spotting the last couple of days and on 2 occasions passed clots (sorry for tmi). Trying not to worry too much but that's easier said than done!

I really admire you ladies who can resist testing. I do it even though I know there's absolutely no way I can be pg - I haven't had a period for god knows how long :o

We're going through a phase where everyone around us seems to be pregnant just now and to top it all off, a friend, who by the way is currently single, announced her pregnancy tonight. I know I shouldn't let it bother me but it does. I guess I'm just jealous
