How about an Atkins diet pudding recipe book (if there is such a thing). So your mums happy because he's on the diet and your dad gets some treats.
Hmmm... he wouldn't cook/bake them though - so is that really for Dad or for Mum? :p

    It's a good idea though...!

Littlezee, re post ov symptom, yay for ov:j But 2.5ww sounds suspect, could you be oving later than you think? Perhaps inability to sleep starts few days before ov:huh:
Good luck for your dad's op:o
16dpo = near enough 2.5ww :) Besides, I usually am off by a few days here or there, so I try not to worry about it too much til it's been 2.5wks ;)

Re Dad's op: Thanks everyone :)
Secretdebts & bigzippy are you in the uk or do you just not sleep at night :D Thanks for keeping the AF room topped up with treats
Definitely in the UK, I'm just an insomniac! :D
Secretdebts works weird hours and seems to be awake when I am ;)
Been really irritable and emotional the last few days....lots of people i know now are pregnant and i just think why not me....i know it WILL be my turn and i just have to wait longer for it but 18 months and its doing my head in now!!! i asked OH what we will do if we cant but he just shrugs it off. I think its harder for me cos he has a child albeit it grown up now but i dont think he really understands what im feeling:cool:
I can imagine how you're feeling... I'm about 6months behind you... I think about you though when you're not posting, you're on clomid now, am I right?

Sorry Lady Bugs I have been MIA

Have had a nightmare few days.

On Friday it was DD2's 1st B'day and I was struck down with D & V  So my mum had to rescue DD2 for the day and I spent the day in bed/bathroom :(

Saturday was DD2's big party and she came down with the bug and slept all day :o Then yesterday she got worse and was end to toe covered in a rash with tempature so DH & I spent last night at A & E with her :(

Today is my 1st day back at work from Mat leave and I don't know if I am coming or going :o

I think I am on CD14 no :) on CB didgi yet so looks like BDing tonight to keep in with the SMEP :o

Hugs to all those in need and congrats to any bfp I have missed.
If you can think it........it will happen

MIL's supposed to have been moving back to the local hospital since Saturday too... I'm guessing seeing as I've not had a call, that she's still at the one 30miles away... unsure.gif

    Just seen these on ebay

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110771564530&var=410043299964&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en

Obviously the fact that they are out of their outer wrapping is a concern, but for that price for digi tests, they are surely worth a punt? I have put them on my watch list, only because I have 4 digis stockpiled already, plus another 10 EHPTs coming from Amazon in the next few days and am hoping beyond hope I get my BFP before I use all of these up. But if I get loads of BFNs this month again and there are any left, I will give them a go.

Qquaver sending ((hugs)) and hope you get to have a good chat with your hubby about it all soon. I know that my husband often reacts to serious stuff with silence or what he thinks is an excellent joke.. And then a day or two later he is sometimes ready to broach the subject in a serious way. Men, mystery creatures.

Wanted to ask a question, too - I am learning all the jargon, but was wondering what the BFP predictions are that you put on the big list of names? Sorry if I am being slow and not catching on!

I just skim read your post, and thought you were referring to tinks when you posted that. Thought that's very insensitive of bigzippy :eek:. Then realised that it was ME being insensitive by bringing that thought to mind :rotfl:

Hugs tinks. It sounds like a gruesome weekend. I'm really prone to bad tummy bugs and hate hate hate them! The number of times I've been stuck on the loo, simultaneoulsy upchucking into the wastepaper bin does not bear thinking about. Luckily my OH has a strong stomach!

People just have a little guess at the beginning of each month of how many BFPs there will be that month :)

    ((hugs)) Tink

You predict how many BFP there is going to be that particular month. If you win, then your name stays on the winner's list for the next month. Just a bit of fun:D
