That gives you about 10-12 days then. Have you told him when you need to decide by? Now you've raised it with him I'd give him a day or two to think it over then raise the issue again with him. Sit down and have a proper chat, with no distractions and when you don't have to be anywhere.

I don't think there's much to think about though. Do we want a baby or not? I'm not getting younger and he knows this.

I did tell him initially before we did IVF that we should think about doing it for at least 3 times. 6 months on, when did he think I'll do the next one?

When you said at the beginning that you should have at least three attempts, what was his reaction?

Maybe the IVF was tougher mentally and physically than he imagined it would be and so needs time to get himself in the right frame of mind to try again?

I don't think it was any different to IUIs we did. I didn't moan or complain, only did the injection once in front of him (because he wanted to see it). I didn't get hormonal, or get any side effects (apart from OHSS which we both thought hilarious:D).

We were both disappointed when it failed, but other than that, it was quite a breeze:cool:

EDIT: OHSS is not hilarious, it is a serious condition when the ovary gets hyper stimulated, and becomes swollen, and water begins to fill up your body. Ours was only hilarious, as it was a mild one, and I ended up looking and sounding like a water butt:o

Maybe just give him a day to think it over, get his head around it and then have a proper chat about it tomorrow evening. Ask him to be honest with you and let you know what his thoughts, feelings are about trying again.

I'm rather impressed with the Fertility Friend android app, it meant i could use my phone to record my temp straight away. It was day 1 of temping this morning and my temp was 96.48 does that sound about right? the other persons chart i looked at who used fahrenheit was in the 97's and 98's.

It is on the low side. It could be the norm for you, but did you have enough saliva?

I wouldn't worry too much as everyone is different and some people naturally have a lower temp than others. What matters is the pattern that emerges within your cycle. My temp can be quite low compared to other people's at the beginning of my cycle.

At least if his is a bit reluctant to try again right now, you will know and you can start using your powers of persuation to convince him other wise

There is actually and the lady in HR said to me the other day if the counselling didn't work out I should give those guys a call. It's a BUPA run scheme, so not sure how much I'd get for free but it's worth giving them a call.



Thanks as I said above I might give the work funded on a call. I have also ordered a couple of books off the tinterweb which are sitting at the posts office because I missed the postman Saturday.
DH will definitely look after me, support me and cheer me up. Last night I was feeling blue and instead of giving me a hug he dragged me off the sofa and made me dance round the living room with him- the boy makes me giggle



It is nice and easy to do in the oven. They have quite a few bake risotto recipes on the Good Food website. I do find the if you use a good non-stick frying pan you tend to not have to stir as much

I think you are right not to go Emsbet if you dont feel comfortable, seems like it might just cause you more worry?

I made a Good Food bake in the oven risotto too, I put asparagus and green beans in it, really nice! And easy to do.

FF has given me some 'implantation' suggestion thing. NOT helping with SS!!
