Well as predicted, AF arrived at around 3.40am today, accompanied by bad period pains again. It was actually the pain that woke me up (had put a mooncup in just in case), and I had to get up and get a wheatbag again. Poor Moon - he's yawning more than usual this morning.:o No need for me to test now QQ. We'll be putting that plan into action again after all. I'm also going to use the CBFM again this cycle so that I can pinpoint the days accurately - hope I've got enough sticks, as I didn't count them as we didn't use it last month. *rushes off to count and possibly order more* ETA - I can hear Moon downstairs listening to Thomas the Tank Engine - seems like I have a child already. ;)

Hugs to all who need or want them,

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

The best laid plans and all that ....

I thought I could put the CBFM on day 6 (and just fast forward days 1-5). Turns out you can only start at day 5.

So, I had POAS & then the flippin machine didn't want it.

Also have been temping since CD1 - thought the therm remembered the temp (as I have been taking them & going back to sleep). Think it does but only til the next time it's on - think I've been switching it on/off a few times. Was wondering why I got 98.6 so regularly - doh!

Anyway, onwards & upwards. Have drunk grapefruit juice & taken benylin this morning.

    Have a great week everyone!

((hugs)) Have you discussed more IVF before? Maybe he just needs time to think about it? Men are funny like that, sometimes my DH won't give me a straight answer to something because he wants time to think about it but forgets to tell me that's why he hasn't answered! Men are funny creatures :)

    ((hugs)) for AF Sexymouse.

  • Hi,

Secretdebts & bigzippy are you in the uk or do you just not sleep at night :D Thanks for keeping the AF room topped up with treats

Hugs Emsbet - you have to do whats right for you...Hope you can find something thats works for you

Hugs Sexymouse hope you get a BFP for Christmas

Hugs 2ba3c - dont worry about not posting or bringing us down...i tend to post mostly when i have worries or concerns because there is no one IRL that can relate to me - hope everything works out for you

Yay DJ - Congratulations :j enjoy your pregnancy

QQ - Well done for the timed BD with no prompting

CD14 for me i managed to persuade OH to BD yesterday morning and again this morning. Had + on OPK last night but only high on CBFM today 'think' ill get a peak on CBFM tomorrow as same happened last month but really annoyed at myself as i struggled to sleep last night as had mission babydance to complete this morning so my temp isnt really correct as i only had approx 1.5 sleep before i took it

Been really irritable and emotional the last few days....lots of people i know now are pregnant and i just think why not me....i know it WILL be my turn and i just have to wait longer for it but 18 months and its doing my head in now!!! i asked OH what we will do if we cant but he just shrugs it off. I think its harder for me cos he has a child albeit it grown up now but i dont think he really understands what im feeling:cool:

Anyway got to go ladies have a lovely day

TTC40 - you are really unlikely to get a peak on day 6 anyway so you could just switch it on and set it to day 5 and get going. It doesn't matter if the day counter on the machine is one (or even two) days off, so long as you are consistent each month with that. I wouldn't push it more than 2 days though as you might miss the egg. You'll have missed the testing window for FMU today by now, but you could reset it for tomorrow and tell it you are on day 5 if you don't want to miss a month? Then if no BFP, either push the m button 2 days after AF actually turns up, or better option reset it completely and start again properly.
  • *Waves* morning everyone!

I've been away this weekend and useless at taking temperatures (woke up super early on Saturday, didn't bother, thermometer was in the bag on Sunday, and this morning). But we've been in there with the BD'ing, so it shouldn't matter too much (and I'm only like, CD8 or something).

BigZ, do you have ME/CFS/fibro? Sorry if I've missed you saying, but a lot of the symptoms you talk about were recognisable...

QQ, did he just ignore the question? Maybe he feels that as you've only just got into the same country he wants to spend some time with you before starting those conversations? I don't know, *hugs* though.

Emsbet, that's good news about the alternative counselling - I think you made the right decision about the other one; if you can't get comfortable or feel that someone outside the room could hear and perhaps judge what you're saying, you're never going to open up. I think sometimes it takes a couple of tries before you find the right 'fit' with counselling: there are lots of different types and people offering it, and some suit some people mroe than others.

If you can, I'd probably drop an e-mail to the centre so that they know why you won't be going back though - they can't help other people if they're still coming across the same problems.

I am loving all the reindeer pictures, clearly glittery reindeer are the in thing to have this festive season! I'm feeling very Christmassy - I went and saw Arthur Christmas with DSS on Saturday, it was actually really good [strike]and made me cry a bit because it was all full of festive goodwill.[/strike]

Sexymouse - hugs for af, you sound all ready for December ttc and so hope you get your bfp next month.

Iloveholidays - hugs, I know how you feel, my DH had a grown up dd and I never think he understands how bad I want a child or how much it hurts when af arrives.

QQ - hugs, as others have said, maybe he just needs some time to think things over.

Mine forgets too:( But this is really important for me. I need an answer before my next AF (I'm 2DPO).

Are you sure you haven't ov'd yet?

    Me too.

Maybe, but I've been thinking about it for the past 3 months or so, maybe more. Probably since the failed IVF in May:(

Was it for kiddies, or is it good for grown-ups like me & DH too?
Does it make us want to have kids (important)?
