Yes I do eat fish emsbet - that recipe sounds yummy! I love smoked haddock! Thanks for the tip.

Hugs 2b - it must be doubly difficult for you not being able to BD on tap (ifykwim). Try to stay positive though - I know it's hard. I have some months when I'm feeling really low, and others where I feel a lot more positive, so I'm sure you'll get a high soon. Please don't leave the thread - I know that most of the posts I post don't always have TTC points in them - it's just nice to know that there are other people out there who understand the rollercoaster of emotions involved in TTC. As for imaginative ways to tell DW, I don't know how I'll tell DH. I expect he'll be there when I do the test, so it won't be a surprise reveal as such. Before we got married, I saw a really cute poem about "a daddy has photos in his wallet where money used to be" that I was thinking of giving to him in a card - maybe there is a similar one for mummys?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

2b - huge hugs please stick around even if you don't feel like posting and you know you can rant and moan in here. Hope you get your pma back soon.

Emsbet - you have been through such a tough time and you must do what it right for you, but from what you have said on here you have a lovely and supportive husband and you know you can always post on here.

BZ - glad mil's op went ok.

Lemon - good to hear from you, often wonder how you are getting on.

Fannyanna - hugs, thinking of you and your oh xx

Hugs to all who need xx

Hope you all having a lovely evening. I've just made a chorizo and squid risotto for dinner, it was very yummy if I do say so myself but I don't think I made enough because I'm hungry again now :o Or maybe I'm just greedy ;)

I've cancelled my counselling appointment. I thought long and hard about it and I came to the conclusion that I just wouldn't be able to feel comfortable enough in the surroundings they offer to open up properly. I checked and they do have other offices but none that I could get to as I don't drive and DH works too far away to drop me off.

I feel a bit disappointed in myself, I'm not usually one for giving up so easily :o

    xx

Risotto, yummy, that's my signature dish (read: the only thing I can actually cook).

I know I haven't been on the board long and don't know everybody well, but I would definitely say you need to feel comfortable with going to counselling, and that it doesn't sound like you are giving up easily or have any reason to be disappointed in yourself. I really hope you find the right counselling solution soon xx

Don't be disappointed, you didn't feel comfortable, and you're not giving up. Does your work do any kind of occupational health stuff-I work for the NHS and the counseller I saw was through the the Employee Counselling Service, I think a few big companies use them, or similar schemes, the NHS, local government etc. It was free and really good for me at that time. Everything is confidential and it doesn't go on any work records. Just another thought of a way you might be able to access services.

Congratulations dj! Always gives me a bit of hope when I see someone who has been trying longer with their BFP!! YEY! I love the way you told DH, fabulous. I can't wait til I get to dream up an imaginative way to tell DW!!

Well we've been busy putting the tree this weekend.

Last week I had a huge wobble, my cycles seem to be getting longer and longer and I'm just completely terrified I can't have children. Even though DW and I agree on adoption and want to do it at some point, we talked more about this time and I called an agency. It seems like we are not in the right position at the moment though *sigh*

So I'm kinda staying away a lot from here at the moment, as I have completely lost all my pma and feeling so utterly low for the last month about this process, I can't seem to shake it. :(

Hugs, it's hard when the PMA disappears, I think we have all been there at least once, mine certainly has on several occasions-we are all here if you need to talk x

I had been a bit worried that mrhappy may have lost his enthusiasm for BDing after being at the doctors on Friday, but I'm delighted to announce we have had a very "busy" weekend!:D:D He has even bought me flowers and chocolate :D

wow loving all the sparkly reindeer, think I would get mad at all the glitter getting everywhere though.
Nothing much going on here, AF has bogged off, so can now prepare for the fun bit of TTC.
Been a bit weepy this evening as have been sat wrapping loads of toys for my friends' kids. OH was quite amused to come down stairs and find me playing with the musical buttons on a fire engine I've got one of them.
Been shopping for the last of the xmas presents this afternoon, found loads of OH although he has loads already. But can not find anything at all I would like. Did buy myself one of those little cabin suitcases for my girly trip to Ireland in Feb, but am now trying to work out how on earth I'm going to fit 4 days worth of stuff into it.

Hugs to all that need it and hurrays for those with good news!
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

    sexymouse, good luck for Wednesday:j
I'm not testing, I can't quite pin point ov as my temps are all over the place:o Also, I do know BDing just once in the cycle rarely leads to a BFP unless you are teenager or drunk:p
The work survival kit for your mum sounds lovely:)
    MrsHappy, yay for ov!:j
Glad you had a 'busy' weekend:D
Time2deal, sorry you found this board so up and down (((hugs))).
Being emotional could also be a pg symptom, hope you caught the eggy this cycle:)
ikkle, those reindeers are lovely, I think I may need to get one of those soon:D

TeamLowe, well done for not testing:T
You are only 11DPO, and you are on the testing list for Saturday 3rd:D
Alcohol going straight to your head sounds good ss:cool:
Dj, of course, stay around as long as you like:)

I know what you mean, my Christmas cards had glitter, and my face seems to be covered with them:shocked:

One good thing about having kids is that you get to play with toys again:D

Perhaps you need another bag:D, a backpack?
