Hope you all having a lovely evening. I've just made a chorizo and squid risotto for dinner, it was very yummy if I do say so myself but I don't think I made enough because I'm hungry again now
Or maybe I'm just greedy
I've cancelled my counselling appointment. I thought long and hard about it and I came to the conclusion that I just wouldn't be able to feel comfortable enough in the surroundings they offer to open up properly. I checked and they do have other offices but none that I could get to as I don't drive and DH works too far away to drop me off.
I feel a bit disappointed in myself, I'm not usually one for giving up so easily

Congratulations!!YAY!! No symptoms here either and i'll be 6 weeks on Tuesday. What a lovely birthday present. Brill xx
Hiya RebekahR *waves*. Are you on the less than 12 weeks thread? I'm scared to leave - I like it hereSo glad you're doing well
Congratulations dj - have a happy and healthy pregnancy and birth - I love your announcement story too!
QQ I will test on Wednesday if AF hasn't shown up by then. Fingers crossed I'll be joining dj as we've been cycle buddies in the past too, and this will be our month 10 next cycle - so right behind her. I've been going hot and cold too, but suspect that is probably down to this bug rather than anything else. Boobs hurt, but get that with AF too, so I'm ignoring any symptoms for the moment.
sexymouse xx
Go cycle buddy!!!! It'll be lonely on the other scary threads without you! Will be keeping my legs, fingers and toes crossed for you. Hugs xxCongrats DJ!! :j :j :T :T
I had very few symptoms with my 1st pregnancy and not really any now (besides some crampiness off and on). Even morning sickness generally doesn't hit most people until 6 weeks or so. I wouldn't know if I had tender boobs, as they are like boobs of steel and even BFing doesn't hurt :rotfl:.
Hiya aless, I am a bit sniffly with odd twingy pains, but nothing apart from that.
Oh, I do have an odd one - my hair is going curly :eek: It's normally wavy, but it's been drying into loose ringlets naturally from about 11 dpo. Love it - I look all renaissance :rotfl:
Jealous of your boobs of steel! :rotfl::rotfl:
Thanks everyone else for your lovely lovely posts and congratulations. Will be testing again tomorrow just to make sure
DH keeps looking over with a soppy grin on his face and offering cups of tea. Love it so far
Got a really early start tomorrow (5am!!), so off to bed.
Night all, huge hugs to those that need them and baby dust to all my lovely ladies.
dj xx

I don't think you're giving up easily, Emsbet. It's been a tough tough time for you both and you are fortunate you have a lovely DH to confide in as well as all of us here. I hope you find a more comfortable, money saving solution for you. Some have e-counselling services that may be good if you are happy talkling to computers? I do think its good to have a comfortable face to face environment for such personal things but each to their own...
DJ, i was going to reply about your pole exploits this week but pgce got to me instead. so good that you enjoyed and even better a birthday BFP! I would like to be like you but my birthday isn't until May so maybe not!! Lol, not much to report here, just about to start assessments for my course so little worried about that as i can tell becuase it took me 3 hours to sort out a simple music issue! Idiot.
CD10 I think and we're trying SMEP w/o hubby knowing though I know is only supposed to be used when you know you are fertile. so 3 negative OPKs so far and one lovely BD session yesterday with conceive plus which is encouraging. lets hope we can keep that going!
Loving the reindeer theme, those morr/sons one are proper sparkly, wish there was one near enough to me to justify the £5! I'm very tactile (apart from BD!) so big squishy hugs to all!!!
SBDTA and remember not long til Christmas and us getting family time together with our gorgeous other halfs...

Don't feel disappointed in yourself emsbet - I can completely understand you cancelling, and that you didn't feel comfortable there. I would go back to the doctor and ask if you can be put on the waiting list. Sending hugs your way. Your risotto sounds very adventurous - I've never made risotto before. We've just finished eating a homemade veggie lasagne (made with soya mince), and luckily we've only eaten half of it, so we've got more to have for Tuesday's dinner (at M&D's tomorrow).Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Aww thanks Student_Mrs - you made me blush. Hope you get your BFP soon too. I love the ladies on this thread - they are all so lovely, and I'll be sad to leave when the time comes too.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Congratulations dj! Always gives me a bit of hope when I see someone who has been trying longer with their BFP!! YEY! I love the way you told DH, fabulous. I can't wait til I get to dream up an imaginative way to tell DW!!
Well we've been busy putting the tree this weekend.
Last week I had a huge wobble, my cycles seem to be getting longer and longer and I'm just completely terrified I can't have children. Even though DW and I agree on adoption and want to do it at some point, we talked more about this time and I called an agency. It seems like we are not in the right position at the moment though *sigh*
So I'm kinda staying away a lot from here at the moment, as I have completely lost all my pma and feeling so utterly low for the last month about this process, I can't seem to shake it.Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
Thanks for the support ladies.
Sexymouse risotto is very easy to make. I love it because you can put just about anything in it and it only takes about 20 minutes to cook.
Do you eat fish? Good food have a great recipe for smoked haddock, spring onion and mascarpone risotto. It's yummy and is really easy as its one you bake in the oven rather than on the hob so there's no stirring.
