Just flying by to share this with you all and ask what your thoughts were: http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2011/nov/22/facebook-status-update-im-pregnant
xx
I have a fb friend who has just given birth, she has posted EVERYTHING. from morning sickness at 4 weeks (!?) to scans, she announced / posted at the 20 week scan that it was a girl and also what she would be called - which to me just leaves nothing to share - but each to their own.
The only post I have made is to thank those who supported me through the traumatic times. I made no mention of baby though as I had 2 pregnant friends at the time and it seemed unfair to burden those that may not wish to know !
Hope everyone ok !Bow Ties ARE cool "Just because you are offended, doesnt mean you are right" Ricky Gervais0 -
I keep getting asked when we are going to have babies too! I am an absolutely rubbish liar so have taken the route of a non-commital answer such as "we are not sure at the moment " (not techinically a lie as we don't know how long it will take to get our BFP but people take it as not sure when we want children) or "we are just seeing how things go at the moment" (also technically true!). That seems to shut people up for a little while at least.
On the FB thing, the worst I have seen is a husband who posted a photo of his wife in labour whilst still at the hospital!:heart: Became Mrs W in 2011:smileyhea Blessed with Baby boy 1 in 2013, Baby boy 2 in 2016 and Baby boy 3 in 2018 :smileyheaDebt @ 19/8/11 [STRIKE]£20,060 [/STRIKE] current £0Paid off 100% :dance:0 -

Secretdebts, DH worried about OHSS? I doubt it, he probably forgotten what OHSS is, and definitely doesn't think it's a serious condition (as I may have neglected to mention that fact);)
Littlezee, glad your Dad's op went well. When is your MIL's second op?
2ba3c, as with the Guardian article, I have no intention of announcing the birth or anything to do with the baby. I may update the info bit with having one son/daughter (if there's such a category)
Oh, and the secret group sounds great:)
Kitten_pie, just read your justgiving site. So sad:(
Squ1rrel5, yay for +OPK!:j Get Bding:)
Whattodonow, wow piano! Does your OH play? Was it a big one?
DibDabb, fingers crossed for boxing day testing:)
Dreamer_me, (((hugs))). It will be your turn soon:o
Flee, your AF sounds normal to me, I too get cm before and during AF. But you know your body best, if you think you should see the doctor, you should:)
Definitely blonde, unless you have regular cycles, those apps are pretty inaccurate. Remember one ov's 10-16 days before the next AF. Cm is usually the thing to watch if not using opks or temps:)
Skintchick, sorry to see you back:o
Hope you caught the eggy, and won't come back anytime next year in the nicest possible way:o

im fine, had a bit of an accident earlier, oh leant forward to pick laptop up off floor, i saw my chance to steal remote so as i reached over and as he sat back his elbow bashed my face. My nose bled everywhere and my cheek swelled up so had to go to the big hospital as the local minor injuries unit thought i had fractured my cheek bone, luckily its just tissue damage and the swelling/bruising should go down in a day or two. xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Oh bless you. Does he feel guilty?? (I can see jewelry & flowers in your future). I would make mine suffer for ages for that :rotfl: Have you got ice on it or anything?Prov1 £3392 - Aqua £1136 Vanquis £1500, HM £21, Barclays £680 Payday Loans - £1000 Mother - £770

yeah he feels really bad, he was sat rubbing my back in the hospital. I've got painkillers to take and have to put ice packs on it regularly but i cant keep them on too long cos they give me a head ache, will be going to bed soon and hopefully the tablets will kick in soon, he has done nothing but say sorry. I think he feels worse because my ex was abusive and he doesn't want people to think he is like that too.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
