Congratulations on the BFP DJ!! :j

Hope your poor face feels better Ikkle! OH did that to me the first time I stayed at his, I tickled him and he lashed out! It wasn't too bad but he still feels guilty about it 5 years later! :o

    Welcome Snowyz! :)

Nothing exciting to report for me, *think* I'm about 9DPO, I felt odd yesterday so took a sneaky test which of course was BFN. AF is due on Friday (I think!) so I'm just going to wait and see. My brother gets married on Thursday and we're going over to the hotel tomorrow so I'm just going to leave my tests at home and forget about it!

Had an odd conversation with OH on Sunday; he'd been out with a friend who is getting married in August and he and his OH really want a baby so she came off the pill a few months ago to see if they could fit a baby in before the wedding (!!), tried for 2/3 months then realised that it is more complicated than first thought and she's now back on the pill and will be trying again after the wedding. OH and his friend spent a few drunken hours comforting each other about their 'failures', how difficult it is to TTC and bemoaning the people who manage to get PG on a one-night stand! I never pegged the boys as the types to talk about that kind of thing, it's nice to know that they both want kids so much they'll open up about it to each other and that OH has someone to moan to as his other best friend is not interested in babies at all right now... but it's also frustrating to know that it's not just my OH who thinks it'll happen immediately and pegs himself as a failure if it doesn't! :o

    Hugs BezzyK.

Decided to go healthy until Christmas and I am sticking to it. Going to try and cut out bread and have cereal and soup for a few weeks. Really need to lose some pounds as I getting far too fat to fit in any of my clothes. Gutted atm because I could not fit into size 12 jeans when 2 years back I was a size 8. So I am going to beat this. I weigh more now than I have when was full term with my DS.

Me too!! going on holiday for christmas and really need to get my @rse into gear! Good Luck for you tho Flee and dont worry about weighing more now then when you had your DS

Also ((hugs)) Flee. I know what you mean about needing to lose weight. I did the "cereal diet" for a few weeks just recently because I was still carrying weight I put on in my last pg. I discovered I had put on a stone since I got married at the end of March!

    xx

Ive done that diet in the past too but after a couple of weeks it gets boring and or when you start eating normal food again it just creeps back on :o Did it work for you?

Erm not sure... I don't weigh myself and I just wanted to give myself a bit of a kick start to lose some of the weight I put on last time I was pg and also to fit into a dress for a wedding. :o I think I lost about 5lbs in 3 weeks so not anymore than when I was doing SW but I just wanted something quick that I could do without having to faff around remembering syns etc.
I may get back on the slimming world though as I really liked that diet and found I had a steady loss.

    xx

Glad your first day back at work was OK after your very eventful weekend tinks. Welcome back skintchick, though sorry to see you here again.

CD7 for me today, and my FF chart looks mad so far. My temps are all over the place. Hope they settle down enough to detect ov, which I think should be over the weekend or early next week. I am hoping for Sunday or Monday to be honest, as OH is off to India for a week, leaving early on Tuesday morning. I have a sneaky plan to fit in some serious TTCing over the weekend though, which I hope will be in the zone! I reset my CBFM this month after last month's debacle and it asked for my first stick today (AF started after my testing window but before 10am , so CBFM thinks I am CD6 and FF CD7) and it was low. Which was a shame as DH put a lot of effort in last night :D

I think Im out for this month.

Ive had some minute spotting i.e if i squint I can just about see something, sometimes. So will put it on FF later if its still there (its weird FF gives me 3 points if you put spotting in? youd think it would take points away??). Also my temp has gone down a bit. Also just got that 'feeling' AF is on the way.

Well I've succeeded in confusing FF!

I have had neg opks for past few days but my temps were slowly on the rise. This morning, on entering my temp FF then showed me as having ovulated 3 days ago.
I've just done another OPK and its positive so FF has removed my crosshair!!

Hopefully will have a clearer idea of what's happening in a few days!

    FF confuses me

    Hi Everyone :)

Hope you're all well tonight :) Congrats on the BFP DJ :j

Not much going on here....been having some strange spotting the last couple of days and on 2 occasions passed clots (sorry for tmi). Trying not to worry too much but that's easier said than done!

I really admire you ladies who can resist testing. I do it even though I know there's absolutely no way I can be pg - I haven't had a period for god knows how long :o

We're going through a phase where everyone around us seems to be pregnant just now and to top it all off, a friend, who by the way is currently single, announced her pregnancy tonight. I know I shouldn't let it bother me but it does. I guess I'm just jealous

i can totally relate TBH i think if its someone thats closer to you it hits you harder then someone you know

Hope your face is ok this morning ikkle. My DH has done that to me too before (although not as bad) but that was my own fault because I was behind him and tickled him (he's very ticklish) and it was like a reflex action. I saw stars for a while and I definitely won't be doing that again! :)

    xx

Sorry Emsbet but this made me :rotfl:

2bac3 – interesting i personally don’t want the big accouncement on facebook although i do like seeing my friends that have worked hard and that are in a good solid relationship announcing there news but sometimes stings me saying that i wouldn’t not put pictures when baby is born etc . One of my closest friends on there at the moment just constatly puts oh my little man is kicking why am i awake etc etc i just think SHUT THE HELL UP i dont want to know this. I cant exactly hide her posts and find myself liking them just to keep peace ( ive actually told her we stopped trying a while ago...well when she found out she was preggers with her loser boyfriend:mad:)
Hugs Kitten pie – i read that link with tears in my eyes such and sweet and moving piece. No consolation i know but isnt it brilliant how much you have raised
