welcome isla_red! I know what you mean, everytime I test AF seems to come the next day or a few hours later. It's as if it waits until I've wasted money then pops up. Although if you want to test and not spend a lot of money, Mr T's do have packs of 2 for £3.49 at the moment, so it's not too bad. I got some today for the weekend.

Not sure whether to test Saturday or wait til Monday when AF is meant to arrive. I usually would wait til when it's meant to arrive, but it's my Cricket Club's annual meal and trophy night on Saturday. I am their tea lady so get my meal paid for, and we use it as an excuse to have a few drinks and get a taxi, as we never get to go out together and drink unless its a wedding, as one of us has to drive. Obviously I don't want to be drinking if we are successful this month (however slim the chance). Also (TMI alert!!!!) have just been to the toilet and wiped and there was a small bit of blood there. If I tested Saturday would it be too soon?

I don't know for certain, but was getting OV cramps on Sunday/Monday (6th/7th) and all of the other signs of OV were there, I had run out of OPKs though so couldn't test.

I hate how when ttc even though you know your body plays naughty tricks, you still end up half-convincing yourself of things...:o

Bigzippy, I know what you mean, I HATE the 2ww. I'm trying my best not to symptom spot as it just creates false hope, but you just can't help it. I think you just end up wanted something so much that the brain points out things that 'could' be signs of pregnancy, but in reality aren't there or are merely a sign of AF.

Think I finally ovulated yesterday. But the opks I did were all negative, they were all completely blank, apart from a couple that had a slight line on them, which meant we only BDd on o-3 and yesterday. And I guess would have done it atleast once more on either 0-2 or 1, if I hadnt been doing them and only temping because I just assumed I wasnt about to ov and we had a really tiring weekend so put it off on some days.

Its just so exhausting having a longer or at least irregular cycle because you have to keep bding for so long because you dont know when you are going to ov. Which ok, theres nothing wrong with more BDing :) but its frustrating. Especially as my cycles so far have got shorter each month coming off the pill, and now this month it randomly got way longer!! Not impressed!
  • Morning lovely ladies!

Just a quirky as have to make a move to work - away until friday :( Boooooo.

But YAY as I am 3dpo today with rocket-ship temps. Happy days and managed to fill all 5 spots on the FF BD timing thing.

Have a good day everyone, welcome to Isla (we've been trying about the same amount of time as you) and hugs to 2b
