    MrsRobertson - hugs for cd1

Emsbet - really hope spotting stops it must be so frustrating for you.

Tinks - hope you find your pma and yay for making cup cakes

Whattodoknow - no haven't had any tests done, Dh is against going to doctors and is convinced it is still going to happen but I think our ages are against us. I may see if I can get to doctors just to discuss things and see what they think.

Sorry to come here to moan, but I'm having a really hard time atm and although I have people I can talk to nobody really understands.

I've been ttc for nearly two years now. Had a miscarriage in September. Have spent the last week in and out of hospital and finally have a diagnosis of insulin dependent diabetes. It's likely that my blood sugar has contributed to mc.

Whilst coming to terms with this, and medical advice to stop ttc for now, Ive got a friend who is 12 weeks pg. she posted scan pic on fb yesterday and I swear it physically hurt! I know she has every right to be happy and excited but now there's these baby gaga updates to contend with weekly as well! I feel selfish for thinking about myself instead of being happy for her and it's like a vicious cycle, see update, feel horrible, feel selfish, feel more horrible!

I'm in a bad place at the moment. I'm sorry to bring down the mood but there are few people who truly understand the pain that comes with ttc.

Am going to take myself off fb for now til I feel a bit stronger.

Sorry again for rant ladies. Sbdta.

((hugs)) I'm sorry you are having such a rough time of it lately.

A few weeks after both of my mc's, close friends announced they were pg, it was like such a kick in the teeth and I cried for hours after I found out. It felt (and still does) so unfair that they get to have healthy, normal pregnancies when mine keep going wrong. I am happy for both couples but I'm more sad for DH and I IYSWIM.

You're not selfish, just human. You've been through a tough time.

Where FB is concerned, you can hide her updates from appearing on your home page so at least they aren't there when you log on. I know this doesn't help with having to see her in RL but it may help a little. I've done it with a few people and found it works for me.

If you need a chat/rant feel free to PM me anytime.

I'm really sorry you are in a bad place today maire. Most people find a diagnosis of insulin dependent diabetes traumatic enough without having all the rest of what you have heaped on top too. Hopefully though once you have it under control with medication, you can start to ttc again and this time find it easier and go on to have a happy and healthy pregnancy. The body is such a complex thing and it's not unusual for an undiagnosed serious condition to stop you successfully conceiving because instinctively it knows it would be bad for you and baby. Evolution being a wonderful thing but having it's drawbacks for our mental health sometimes!

AFM I am driving myself slowly bonkers. Loads of symptoms this month but don't know whether my body is just playing tricks on me. Sore boobs, bloating, nausea, fatigue, sensitive to smells, food aversions and being spectacularly farty being the most dramatic :). So far have managed to resist testing as am only 8dpo, and my chart doesn't seem to have an implantation dip or be triphasic so am trying not to get my hopes up. Though if I were symptom spotting, I'd say I implanted on 5/6 dpo due to some odd pain on my lower right side then.

Anyway, the thought occurred to me this morning, that it would be great if someone could design a new fertility monitor, where you take your temp with a digital thermometer which wirelessly transmits it to a monitor for you and charts your temp without you having to wake up enough to write it down or remember it. You could also have pee sticks throughout the month which measure all 4 hormones so not only would it tell you when you were due to ovulate, it would also tell you as soon as you were pregnant. Anyone know a manufacturer who could make this wonderful contraption for us :D

    morning everyone :)

hugs for embet, mrsrobertson, marie and anyone else who is feeling down. I'm sure the weather and lack of daylight aren't good for pma :o

I feel bad for posting this as I know some of us are really struggling but I'm hoping it will help lift the mood and not be upsetting for anyone but I got my bfp this morning. I'm  and :D. Super scared after last time but excited too. This is the first month for ages we managed to bd on ov day itself (before we'd start off well but run out of steam by the big day) but apart from that we didn'tdo anything differently :)

I'll stay and lurk if that's ok :o xxx

Thanks! I didn't realise I could hide them. I'll do that!

I've been told to wait a few months until my sugar levels are controlled but the diabetes care team have been great and pit me on a pre conception clinic. I'm going to stay off bc and keep track of ov etc so I can start again straight away. With any luck, now I'm controlling diabetes it shouldn't be quite as hard as before to get pg!

I will keep lurking and look forward to seeing more bfps!
