Thank you, i might join you there:)
Claire, America is cheap in comparason... iam feom Argentina, so only the well off people go there... or the well educated !:p go to Los Andes, Patagonia..., continental ices...
I dont know what airline you use but Im sure BA fly there so you should still check out their sale just incase you find a deal! I would really like to go to Argentina or at least somewhere in south america one day. Its one continent Ive never been to before (apart from a couple of hours in mexico if that counts??). Everyone I know who has been there loved it, one friend even came home and took up spanish lessons. So I hope you can visit your family next year. i guess they would love to see your daughter?
Just hoping my temp goes up tomorrow. My last couple of cycles have done exactly what theyre supposed to do, this one, I dont know what its playing at :mad:0 -

thanks!! I watched the last couple and in the last episode all of the diets they put people on worked.
Its kinda funny though because for nearly all the problems people had, the food they had to eat was practically the same, oily fish, seeds, whole grain, fruit and veg - you get the picture :rotfl:0 -
I found this old post of QQ's that tells you recommended dosage:xx
Thanks ems, you're a star xCD1 AF just arrived
Hugs for CD1 x
Congrats europa and any other BFP's I've missed :j
Hugs also to morocha, sounds like you are having a tough time just now. I think cold feet is fairly common regardless of mens ages. mrhappy is 47 and was sure he didn't want to get married or have children-our 2nd wedding anniversary is next month and we have been ttc for 6 months
I have bought my soy and a thermometer, I was in Boots and they had CBFM's for £50 in the discounted bit, I don't really pay much attention to where you ladies all live, but it was the Boots in East Kilbride (just outside Glasgow) they had 3 or 4 left. I don't know haw much they usually are either, so wasn't sure how good a price that was and didn't have 50 quid to spend, lol, I got my thermometer for a fiver, so was happy.
Jusy had a chat with mrhappy, I'm sure I read somewhere that it takes 3 months for any difference in what blokes do to have an impact on their swimmers, in July/August he really wasn't well with prostate stuff and was on loads of medication, so that may possibly maybe (clutching at straws here) had an impact on his wee guys.
PMA all the way this month:j0 -
Mrshappy, its true that the lifecycle of male sperm is 90 days give or take, so any problems in July/August are likely to be hitting you just at the moment, and by next month, assuming he stopped his medication in August, the new ones should be starting to come through at full strength. Does he take any supplements to help things along?0

Wow I go away for a few days and look what I miss – not had chance to catch up on everything but I did see the BFPs!!
Congratulations to Rebekah, Pot8o, Europa and Robyn!! Fantastic news, wishing you all a happy 9 months ahead…
Well I had an eventful few days in Berlin…great time, such a fascinating history behind it (some of it very sad but very interesting nonetheless), great architecture and lovely people. Also spoke German most of the weekend too, and felt very proud of myself for not getting anything wrong when the orders arrived!! Celebrated my birthday there on Saturday too so QQ, please can you change my age on the first page to 32!!
Bit of a weird thing going on now though….perhaps you ladies can give me some advice…
I stupidly thought (as there were LOTS of signs leading up to it) that my OH was going to propose this weekend…. BIG mistake!!
I’ve had my hopes up for a while (we have talked about weddings etc for well over a year) but I have been pretty relaxed about it up til now but for some reason, I just thought this weekend was it!!
The main reason being that we both want to be married before a baby comes along and seeing as we have been ttc for 4 months, then he is cutting it a bit fine asking me and getting the wedding out of the way before I am too big to waddle down the aisle!!
Well anyway, lots of opportunities (or so I thought) came and went during the weekend and nothing happened so I just put it to the back of my mind and got on with it but last night after a bit of a delay at the airport I got a little bit drunk on airport wine and already feeling down that the weekend was over and we had to go back to work I got a little bit emotional…
it was only a couple of tears but it must have just been the look on my face as I didn’t even say anything – as strangely my OH knew exactly what was wrong!!!
I actually found this a bit weird, as normally I blatantly have to spell everything out to him if there is something wrong but I hadn’t even said any words, only tears but he started saying how he knew why I was upset… and then when we got home he got more upset saying how he was a rubbish boyfriend for not doing what I wanted him to do this weekend!!
I then started thinking that perhaps it had been on his mind this weekend too but he just wasn’t brave enough or didn’t feel the opportunity was there to do it….
Not even sure what to say now – we were both back in work today so nothing else has been mentioned but I feel really terrible because I didn’t mean to get upset and I certainly didn’t want to guilt trip him and make him upset too!!
I just feel a bit awkward – don’t want to add any undue pressure to him, but at the same time I don’t really want to bring it up as a conversation topic as I’d rather when it does happen there’s at least some element of romance attached to it. At the same time I don’t want it to just be forgotten about and I’m still here waiting a few years down the line!!!
Should we talk about it or should I just go back to waiting again……0 -
squ1rrel5 - BELATED HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I'm sorry OH didn't propose, and I hope that its because he KNOWS you would work it out and wants to completely surprise you. How is he with suprises in general, does he plan well and organise great ones/is he an original surprise giver? Or perhaps he got scared! It's a scary thing proposing! What if you hated the ring!
Perhaps he is waiting til you are pregnant?
I had a feeling DW was going to propose to me and I knew it would be romantic BUT In the end it happened in her moms living room in front of her mom. She had planned something much more romantic and it happened in a completely different way to the way it was going to work in her head.
If you think you can genuinely get over it/forget it until it does happen, then I'd say not to bring it up - because you don't want to. Go out with girlie friends, get drunk, watch romantic movies, eat chocolate, cry get it out of your system and then file it away in your head in a 'to be processed' file - knowing that it will happen one day - but that OH might need to build up to it /plan etc..
xxBaby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0
