    morning everyone, happy Friday

Sorry you're leaving us Lily :(, I'll miss you on here but understand if it's not right for you at the moment. Feel free to pop back anytime and keep us posted on how you are doing :) Good luck to you and Dovetail if you decide to write a novel. I think writing one in a month might be a bit of a stretch for me though :p

Fingers crossed for you WPB. My baby would have been due on the 12th Jan so I've still got a while but thinking it's a silly deadline to give myself anyway, who needs MORE pressure?! better to have a healthy pregnancy than a quick one ;)

Glad your dad is ok tinks, love the bunting :)

BigZ, size 14/16, that's not BIG!! Only 6 weeks to December anyway ;). I weigh heavy too, always have done even when I was teeny when I was a teenager, think I'm quite dense :D. I don't weigh myself anymore I just go by how my clothes fit.

Glad you're feeling better Emsbet :)

Well said Primmer. I'll be a bloody expert in patience and hope soon though (good qualities for a mum though) :D

Tinks, sorry to be a pain but would you mind resizing your pic! I can only fit the first half of everyone's posts on my screen so am finding it hard to follow what everyone is saying...

Ugh CD1 for me. Worst cramps Ive had in a while but felt really sick and faint this morning with upset stomach which is the worst as at least the cramps have gone away with ibuprofen so they werent too bad. And totally lost my appetite which is annoying as that would help with the feeling faint thing.

Havent felt like this since before I went on the pill. Ive had pretty good periods since coming off the pill so far and I really hope theyre not going back to what they used to be like when I was a teenager when I literally threw up with the pain. Just makes me even more desperate to get pregnant asap! Oh and I started a new job today - perfect timing! But I have a few hours off in the day time though due to nature of the job so just relaxing at home for a few hours.

FF shows my next ovulation date as around my birthday so thats good timing I guess! Or not if we have family possibly staying that weekend... My sis -in -law does want us to have a baby though! :)

    ((hugs))Claire for CD1

I'm just back from my check up at the hospital and everything has come away :j It was a weird feeling being scanned and hoping they'd find nothing :o

The midwife advised us wait three cycles before trying again- not happening! :o The midwife (more senior one) who spoke to us two weeks ago said to wait just one month. Everything I've read, including on the miscarriage association website, says that there is no evidence to suggest waiting makes any difference. The only reason they tell you to wait even one month is that it makes dating the pg easier and also from an emotional point of view.

We've decided to just do NTNP this next month and then after my next AF I will start charting again. I think the bleeding has stopped now but I will see how it goes over the course of the day. After a mc they count the last day of bleeding as CD1 rather than the first.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

    xx

Sorry for CD1 Claire :( "proper" periods suck don't they :o. A birthday sounds like a good time for conception to me though :)

Hugs Claire and anyone else feeling like poo this week.

Think AF is going to happen in full flow this weekend. Definitely not pregnant. Not impressed with this spotting. Not had this before. I think I really did mess up mess my body up by taking the pill for 4 days in August after being off for 2 months, and then coming off again. Not sure how long it will take my body to recover.

Not sure if it will be a good idea to have a baby next year, as my OH is at university and will be on placement year. We decided to try for a baby and OH would be able to help with the bills whilst getting paid on placement. BUT he may have to travel long distances to his placement. So we are discussing it currently and going to make a decision.
OH wants to try for a baby though. I don't want to be stuck at home with a baby and no one to help. One placement would mean 2 hours travel in morning and 2 hours travel in the evening. So he would leave at 7 in morning and arrive back at 8pm. If he had no sleep at night it would be very tough for him.

How long will his placement be for? DH has to travel 1.5hours each way to work each day so is out of the house from 7:30am to 7pm. I do worry that it will be tough being on my own in the day for so long with no family (both families live in our hometown, 80miles away) but after recent events I've decided I don't care :o

There are lots of mother and baby groups about where you can meet lots of new friends so you can have some adult conversation ;)

Hope you get it sorted soon.
