Have spoken to the doctors surgery this arvo to get the results of my blood test and I am anaemic, and the doctor wants to see me again, so going back tomorrow afternoon.
Oh dear, hope you'll be cured soon:o

QQ - can that happen? Because it looks like it happened twice!

BigZee - snap, re facebook and BMI and looking heavier than I am, although I put on about a stone - a stone and a half when I gave up smoking - so currently at my heaviest and struggling to shift it with back problems.
Id actually desperately love to adopt too and it features in our plans for sure. Id do that right now - but I had a feeling we would be turned down based on our debt. Which is sad.

Rebekah, I saw that link yesterday and cried. But like my MIL said, should he have been driving? When I go, I want DW and I to go together, in the most peaceful way as possible. I wish I'd met her when we were 18.

AFM, I went for my job interview today - for the job of my DREAMS. Will hear either tomorrow or today, so desperately want it. Im stuffy and still meh, re not having ovulated this month (another HIGH, pah). I also went on DS's first school trip with him today and met some lovely new mums. I've been looking for new mum friends in the area. DW is away and there is 8 hours time difference, so missing her desperately.

Watching 'Hoarders' on TV, has anybody seen this? This show makes me so sad, especially this one, there are cats involved.... Oh gosh, I cant even talk about it :(

You could be describing me. I am heavier than I look and fit into size 16 and occasionally size 14s.

Same here, I fit into a size 16 mostly - 14 on top but I wear things very fitted but I weigh MUCH more than I am supposed to...
WW leader looked at my body, looked at the scales and said "Gosh you dont look like you should be THAT heavy..." - I wasnt sure to take that as a backhanded compliment or a huge insult!! :rotfl:
Desperatlely trying to lose the weight because of TTC but its a struggle because I actually like the way I look (I think most of the weight is in my boobs!!) But I know if im not pg in a few months and have to go to the docs, that is the first thing that they will tell me to sort out!!

    ...

If last month is anything to go by my OV day will be around 24th/25th this month - started the OPKS's today just in case but as I've had pretty regular cycles I dont think much will change... Still getting some BDing in just in case, as its our week off and we have plenty of time!! :)

Welshpolarbear, no SSing:naughty: I think I didn't ov last cycle, and have gone onto a fresh cycle:o
    /QUOTE]

Sorry to hear that. Here's to a fresh cycle and keeping my fingers crossed tight you you.

Tell me about it with the ssing. I'm trying my hardest not to. I really really am....but it's so hard!

Wow thanks guys for that amazingly quick flurry of responses!! LOL we all obviously have nothing better to do! :rotfl: Thanks QQ for my BFP message and I love yours too Mishka, thanks xx

Am quite choked by all the congrats, thank you so much :o It hasn't sunk in yet, I don't think, I can't quite believe it. I'm also trying not to get too excited (although that's basically impossible!) as I'm so scared something could easily go wrong.

I've only done the one test, an IC, so I hope it is a real +ve!! I took it when I got home from the gym at about 6.30pm, as I felt really weird at the gym and I just had a feeling I was pg. The line came up quite strong straight away - I couldn't believe my eyes, thought I was never going to see a second line. (So much for waiting til saturday!) :p I think I'll splash out (pardon the pun) on a CB digi on saturday.

DH is very very happy and excited :)

By the way, I hope you don't mind if I hang around here for a bit? I want to keep up on all the gossip and know how you guys are doing! Until it feels a bit more real I don't want to go to the <12 weeks thread :o

Thanks again for all your congratulations and support, you are the bestest :kisses3:

    BB x

OH MY GOSH BB!!! I missed this!!!! Completely didn't realise when I commented on your message earlier. I am so happy for you. Congratulations and here's to a forever very sticky baby :j :j :j

Meh, PMA has gone for a Burton, looks like the move is falling through, still grumpy still bloated and feeling very sorry for myself.

I am sorry I know this is very trivial compared to what some of us are going through at the moment, but for me the house move and stress is what I'm blaiming on TTC taking longer than I expected, and at this rate will continue way into the future.

As things were ticking along nicely I have packed most of my stuff away, only have 2 pairs of shoes left in the house and no make up.

Feeling a bit sick tonight too, but prob just due to the buyer being a (f-ing a-hole and asking for a £5k price drop before he will sign his contract) Please highlight this bit if you are not easily offended!

Sorry guys, hugs, congrats and SBDTA xx

  • Evening peeps,

QQ can you take my name off the front page and the next daily posts you do please?

Have decided not to post here any more. It is not about anyone else, just not the right place for me to talk about this sort of stuff.

Good luck for your BFPs ladies. :)

I agree it does sound like he shouldnt have been driving - I mean some other poor woman has broken her neck. I hope she makes a recovery.

Hope you get your dream job!

I watched a hoarding show when I was in America earlier in this year, not sure if its the same show, but yeah pretty crazy. My Aunts mother used be really bad at hoarding stuff, although not quite to the extent on the show, but keeping newspapers etc. My aunt would have to chuck them in the bin when she wasnt looking!

I dont know what the criterior is for adoption. But in some places they wont let you if you smoke so at least youve got rid of that barrier if you ever decided to :)

Sorry that you are going Lily, though I understand the need to take a break sometimes. Come back and post your BFP when you get it, even if you don't want to post the details of the journey any more?

Hugs. Hope you won't be long before you get it.
