  • My first response to you was purely because I didnt want LMG to feel she had upset EVERYONE feeling a loss, being one of them who 'may' have been effected I felt my opinion would balance out yours and perhaps make her feel a little more at ease. Having had the same fears as LMG I could relate to her post and would have worded things the same way.

I ignored the subsequent dig you made at me as I could see that you were upset. That was personal and did offend me greatly so you will find my response today unpleasant, you too are now going on the ignore list, I have no interest in reading digs at me by someone who thinks its ok to do so as they have suffered a loss.

Yay Emsbet, hope you can truly start to feel better now.

Hugs Mishka, I hope you feel better soon. Whilst I have never gone through what you and everyone else going througha miscarriage you have my full sympathy and support

Here things are looking marginally more positive, we have someone who wants t come for a second look tomorrow at our house, so hopefully I can get rid of my current buyer and finally sell the house. May take a few more weeks but I am not being held to ransom by unreasonable demands from someone that has already been messing us about.

Woke up at 4am after very fitful sleep last night so shattered, my snooze on the sofa for a bit

Good luck Gemma. Exactly this happened when we last moved. Our buyer tried to drop the price by 10k just as we were due to exchange, and we were lucky enough within a few days to find someone who liked the house enough to offer above the asking price to secure it. So we ended up selling for 25k more than we would have done, even if first buyer had gone through at the originally agreed figure. The thing is that even if you did agree to discount it for your first buyer, you would still be delayed by a few weeks (as I found out then) because if the selling price changes, even downwards, the buyer has to apply for a new mortgage offer and sometimes this means a revaluation of the house. I actually think I found moving house more stressful than ttc though at times it was a very close run thing. My DS1 who was 6 when we moved at the time went through a phase of telling people "do you know that x (our local estate agent) is a liar and a cheat?" :o so no prizes for guessing what kind of conversations he was overhearing at home.

10dpo today for me and I have still resisted testing. Feel I probably haven't caught this month sadly, but shall put off seeing the BFN staring at me for as long as I can. The weather is unseasonably hot with us at the moment but I am waiting in for a delivery man which is a bit pants. I have DS2, who is 2, and DD, who is 10 but has severe learning difficulties so with the interests and attention span of a 3 year old, at home with me as DD has broken up for half term already and I can tell they are dying to go out to the park. So far today we have made, and ate, chocolate chip cookies, and watched far too much cbeebies so I hope the delivery comes soon so we can get out and do something in the fresh air.

I think I can safely say this is the most stressful move/ thing I have ever done. The people coming round are first time buyers with a mortgage in place too so hopefully all will be well soon enough. Luckily DD is too young to pick up on things just yet, although I;m sure it won't be long!

Tried and failed for stone roses tickets this morning, but going to have a cuddle with a 7 day old baby in a bit, which will cheer me up!

Lovely! Just the thing to relieve your stress levels (when you can hand them back when they start crying that is!)

I tried and failed for tickets for a cookery class on Monday. Booking lines opened at 9.00 and my friend and I both tried solidly until 11.00 when I finally got through and they were sold out. Who would have thought a cookery lesson would be so sought after! Bet the chef thought that he was one of the Stone Roses...

Can't stop as we are in the middle of putting up these blooming bookcases (and trying to get them to fit )

((hugs)) Mishka - I had similar a couple of days ago when the epilepsy nurse called to arrange an appointment to make sure I'm not at risk during my pregnancy :(
I hope today gets better for you but remember it's ok to be upset. It's only been three weeks and there's no time limit on grief.

    xx
